One of my favorite restaurants, not just in Cebu, but ever! I'm not from Carcar, but when were buying pasalubong at the new chicharon stands, we asked the locals where's a good place to have dinner in the area. They recommended "Hey Ju". Best recommendation, ever! Their place isn't something that's easily seen by travelers since it's not located on the main highway, but it's not that far off either. My family and I love all their food, especially their Crispy Pata. The meat is so tender, yet the skin is crunchy..amazing! This was my second time visiting. Recently they added Shrimp Tempura, and it has immediately become another favorite! Fried to perfection and the sauce was just perfect! *chefs kiss*

I'm writing this a day after our dinner, yet the euphoria hasn't subsided. I really love their food. And I enjoy the bar/garden area, too. The place is always busy on our visits, yet their service is still fast. 5/5!!

HeyJu is a hidden gem that has earned the high ratings on Google and tripadvisor. Food is excellent and in my opinion not pricey at all, given the quality, wonderful service and overall yumminess! If you're driving south or north through Carcar this is s great place to stop, relax, have a nice meal or even just grab a coffee to go. Well done HeyJu!
