The most beautiful church I visited so far. Kindly go here 1-2 hours before mass, because the church usually closes during siesta hours.

An old church in Betis that has a simple white exterior but an intricately detailed interior. The ornate decorations inside the church are truly eye candy, especially the ceiling. The well-maintained wooden floor and perfect lighting enhance the overall ambiance.

This Church was declared AS the most beautiful church in central Luzon,I won't tell you why bcoz it's for you to find out and I'm sure you will loved it too PROMISE ☺☺☺☺

What a beautiful church with a rich history. You need to see the ceiling paintings and side altars.Amazing! The christening font have christened so many local Catholics for decades.

Simply divine, always a go-to when I visit Pampanga

Betis Church as popularly called is also known as St James the Apostle Church, located in Guagua, Pampanga. It is known as the Philippines' version of Sistine Chapel (in Vatican). It has intricate murals all over the ceiling, that depicts the life of Jesus. The wooden doors are artistically carved in detailed fashion by the local artisans -- my favourite is the door with the Virgin Mary.
Built in the 17th century, the church still have the remains of the concrete when it was built. The facade looks simple, it was a surprise to see the beautiful interiors.
The main altar is very elaborate, there are angel statues in the columns.
And a bit of extra, was a fascinating tri-bike displayed in front of the church's yard when we visited.

The painted ceiling of the church is impressive. Awesome interiors with wooden planks as its flooring.

The outside of this church is plain, not much I can say about it but the interior is absolutely stunning! The place is studded with decorations so elegant that I can honestly say this place deserves to be called the Sistine Chapel of the Philippines. I'll never get tired of visiting this church.

In this coming Holy Week , please do visit this church to remember nearly 500 years of Christianity , an edifice that speaks a truly remarkable work of history , in collaboration with the presence of the Almighty , a well preserved structure of Love, History and Time

This church is so beautiful. The artwork is one of the best ive seen here in the philippines.

A heritage church in Pampanga. Really crowded during Holy Week but everyone, specially the youths, are very helpful and courteous.

Well maintained though some fans aren't working so it's pretty hot when we attended Sunday mass
