Pagsolingan Garden Center

Pagsolingan garden center has a wide collection of foliage anthuriums, caladiums, vanda orchids, bromeliads even foliage trees. Their collection of flowering trees include the chinese wisteria and legume tree. Their staff are also very helpful and accomodating. The owner, Mr. Mac Pagsolingan is hands on and very helpful in answering your queries.

The location is great, right at the side of a national highway, but the parking could be improved. Parking would be difficult if there were a lot of visitors.

The size of the place is what is expected for a popular and well known plant nursery and supplier of garden plants. It is well layed-out, good spacing and visually entertaining even if you decide not to buy anything. They seem to be expanding their capacity and hopefully this will make the place even better.

The number of plants available is quite impressive for the size of the place. There is a good collection of popular plants and flowers. A few of the varieties are still being propagated so some were not yet for sale but the ones were probably enough for most. There are no really rare plants for sale, but there seems to be a few kept as pat of their collection.

All of the plants are quite expensive considering the location, but still much cheaper than many places in Metro Manila. You could get cheaper plants of course, but they do seem to take care of their plants and even if you do have to shell out a little more you can be sure you can choose the one of good quality and to your liking.

In addition to the plants for sale, they also sell gardening supplies such as soil mixes, coco coir/chips and others by the sack.

The staff will guide you through the place if you want and are very accommodating and helpful. They also give free bottled water after you have gone around the garden and chosen you plants. Not much but it is a nice gesture.

If you have a good budget, then this place could be for you, but if you are looking for a bargain or two, then look elsewhere, there are still options for the bargain hunters.

This is a good place to stop and take a break on your journey. Topig and frech coconut water can make a difference. Even chat a little with the salesladies. You will feel refreshed and ready to hit the road again.
