Jaynet Oceanview Resort

After 9 weeks of travelling southeast Asia, my girlfriend and I both agreed this resort had the best ocean view from the balcony and room. The room was large, very clean, and every staff member was extremely polite/helpful for anything we needed. Food at the resort was tasty, and the resort is one of the nicest places to stay in Baljoon/Oslob area, 20-30 min drive to Whale Sharks. Very peaceful, loved our stay. Thank you!

Experiencing the calm and Beauty of the South at Jaynet Oceanview Resort was very unforgettable. Clean, cozy rooms and a quiet place for relaxation.

The place is nice, its an overlooking style of resort. There is a pool and they have access to the beach, recommended you know how to swim because they dont have a lifeguard available. Swim at your own risk. Scenery is fantastic rooms are clean and fresh especially the family room. They have a tv and blu-ray player, they also have a wide selection of DVD movies available for you to borrow. The place also have WiFi. They offer food you can order and they dont have corkage, so bring as many food and drinks. Lastly, the resort has lots of stairs and I mean alot.

The hotel was really clean and the staff was beyond friendly. Nothing but good things to say about this place. Nice view, breakfast was only 200 pisos. WiFi and hot water 👍

I had a great time spending a night at Jaynet Oceanview Resort.
It was still under construction especially the pool area and adding extra rooms, comfort rooms or shower room for guests. Currently they have four rooms for occupancy but make sure to contact them because they are usually fully booked. I could say that the view is spectacular especially sunrise.
If only I stayed a few more days I would definitely enjoyed it so much.
Nevertheless, I had a great time and looking forward to go back here with new amenities available.

I travelled to Cebu with my parents and boyfriend. We stayed at Jaynet Oceanview Resort for 4 nights. Our experience is best described as having a home away from home. We travel to immerse ourselves into a foreign culture. To turn strangers into friends and sometimes when we're lucky, they become family. The people who work at Jaynet made our stay so enjoyable from beginning to end. The resort itself is currently in it's soft opening. The rooms we stayed in we're spacious, clean, well air conditioned, had a breath taking view. They are currently in the process of buying additional rooms and an infinity pool. There are many excursions available to do and the staff are very helpful with helping to plan your day trips. If you're looking for a place to stay that is affordable and comfortable look no further! Looking forward to our next stay!

Fantastic resort. The staff and owners were amazing. The resort is beautiful and peaceful. You will definitely have a wonderful time.

Magnificent oceanl view from room. At night can see the stars from hotel balcony. Hotel is pretty isolated so will need a car to get around. Hotel is near small town. Rooms are big but amenities are outdated. Good one night stay to visit the whale shark.

I cannot express my feelings in words to how this place made me and my family feel. This was by far the best place that we have spent our Christmas Family Tradition at. Everything was just perfect for us. And did I mention that the hospitality and service would have you not wanting to go back home anymore? Now I mentioned it. 😁 Their crew there was just amazingly great.

I would really highly highly recommend this place when you go down South of Cebu.

One of the very few places in Cebu that my family want to go back to..... and we have been to so many places in Cebu.

We checked in for 4 nights. At first it can be unsettling as it's a 4 room hotel. But after getting to know the staff, you realize what a nice spot you're in.
It's safe and clean and all rooms have a great view overlooking the water & sunrise.
The breakfast in the morning is modest but nicely prepared.
The rooms are very big and can easily accommodate 4 ppl in the 2 queen beds.
The aircon is strong and in each room.
The location is a bit north of Oslob (where most attractions are) but it's a short bus ride (30 pesos).

Arrived the property 10pm. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Great service. They’ll cook for you when you buy the ingredients (from Oslob market) for a small fee. Bought a kilo of avocados for them to blender for a fee of 50 PHP. The two double bed bedroom is big and clean. Nice view even from inside the room. You can also feed the fish just beside the property. Free breakfast for four for us. The breakfast was quite simple, though. Free use of snorkel, fins and floats, and Netflix/WiFi. It’s about 25 minutes to the whale shark watching site and a spring board to four waterfalls in southern Cebu. This was the reason we chose this resort, as well as the good review we’ve read. Glad we did. Will stay here again - but with more company.

One of the best places to stay when you would like to see whale shark at Oslob (30 min drive). Their staffs are friendly and the food delicious. I ordered sinigang and bbq pork belly, it was yummylacious. I stayed at their family room on the 2nd floor which had a direct view to the beach and the sunrise. I would highly recommend this place for my fellow travellers.

If you are searching for an escape from the crowdness of Cebu city, this is the place to be. The relaxing views from this new built accommodation are amazing. Even the night sky offers much to look at. Initially booked for four days, but extended my stay for two more nights. Hotelstaff consider the guests as their own people. The friendly host Cecil did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Driver Jonjon was an amazing tourguide and person, and showed us the local "secret" itineraries. Chef Jefferson can cook delicious bbq fresh fish. This resort is a true paradise.

Room is very nice and affordable with a great view to watch the sunrise. It also overlooks Cebu Strait. Location is 30 minutes away from Oslob Whale Shark watching, 2 hours away from Cebu City and approximately 1.5 hours away from Bato, Cebu. Buses going to Cebu City or Oslob are just across the street. Staffs are very accommodating. They also allow late check out as long as no once will rent the room. 'Til next time! Its almost a month we stayed in Jaynet last January this year we enjoyed our stay with the staff they are thoughtful,friendly,etc.The amenities are all great last October 1 2020 we enjoyed our staying again even if just 1night staying with my family, friends,cousins,as a request of my daughter for her birthday celebration.The room was clean staff are thoughtful,friendly etc. the room was spacious.My cousin he told me that he will come back again He likes the Amenities as well as the staff he said the air-conditioned very cold hehehhe

I had a great time staying even for a night at Jaynet Oceanview Resort. The view is a sight to see especially when morning comes. I would love to come back when the all the amenities is complete.
