Padre Pio Mountain of Healing

The Mountain of Healing Padre Pio is a one of kind place, just a 46Km away from Metro Manila, cyclist can enjoy the beauty of nature and the endurance of your body to conquer 22% gradient of the road to the reach monument of Padre Pio.
The place is really breath taking when you see the top of it with so much trees sorrounding it and be blessed to pray in its hands.

The statue is situated on a steep hill, pilgrims will have to walk from the pay parking area up to the main entrance. There are donation boxes around, no entry fee required. Wheelchair access is available.

Best to visit on weekdays to have a quiet time or in the afternoon before the sunsets. Please note that they're closed on Mondays.

Regular Mass schedule every Sunday at 3pm while Healing Mass is at 9am every 23rd of the month.

It's a far drive from Makati to this place but I tell you what it's absolutely worth it , view is nice and with some mediation and prayers you feel great afterwards,gotta warn you about the steep hill from the bottom to the top is absolutely a killer.haha bring a towel thou and some water with you

T'was a great experience to visit this place eventhough needs some efforts and energy to eventually climb its terrain going to the top - where Padre Pio's Figure/Statue located, it feels so fullfilling and satisfying seeing its towering height, fronting a staggering sea of mountains. I feel so blessed upon reaching and finally vowed a silent prayer - had a peaceful meditation.

Nice view. Has a lot of parking space you can park near pio statue.

We went there feb this year, the stairs going up is actually closed so some people need to take the other way which is i guess much harder way. If you're with baby/pwd/senior you can ride your car going up and park just besides the entrance, you only need to pay 20php for the parking. Good place to relax and pray.

Place is solemn and very scenic. If you have old and young ones with you, know that you can park at the shrine, you don't have to walk the winding road up. Ans a lot of people will try to stop you from bringing your car. Keep in mind though that the parking up top is limited to like a maximum of maybe 6 cars.

A better place to visit. A must visit place in san jose del monte. Just Prepare yourself for the walk. If you are looking for a place for spirituality and meditation.

Make sure to bring enough strength to climb all the way to the summit. Very steep climb. 17-21% gradient. Cemented road. There are a lot of food store and souvenirs at the top. They also have toilets.

Padre Pio statue is located at the topmost part of the property where you have a very relaxing view of the green mountains of SJDM, it is indeed healing once you see the breathtaking view. I was surprised that there's a Padre Pio shrine here. I think they are planning to build an actual church. The road going here is paved already but you have to hike a little to be able to reach the shrine.
