A memorial site historical to the Philippines and its development. From the rebellion against the Spanish. Became
the Bonifacio brothers executed here in this place in Maragondon. located in the middle of nowhere. a few kilometers long dirt road but so beautiful! Some places after the road are like a savanna with Acacia trees and animals grazing on the grass. a really peacefull place. Goverment takes responsibility and renovates this place of memory.

Very nice park and shrine to Philippines hero Andre Bonifacio far from main town middle of no where following dirt track
Friendly security ask first if main gate is open to park have to sign in sign out but free entrance .
There's is a
Abandoned pavilion with pool and abondand suevernier shops only toilets inside available shame few people there when I was there be nice nice to get suevernier but unfortunately
Still give it 5 star
Hope one day they make the road more excesabble renavate the pavilion or make it government tourist site .great for history buffs or hikers cyclist etc.

A shrine of a hero that's tucked away deep in a forest, Bonifacio Shrine and Eco Tourism Park is said to be the place where the hero Andres Bonifacio and his brother was executed. There are little to do here. You can spend some quite time away from the city noise or hike up Mt. Nagpatong.

It was very quiet in here. It was only us in the place probably because its a Monday. This shrine seems to be in a private compound, you have to pass by two security gates before you get inside. Part of the way going there was a rough road. Because it looks like its privately owned, there is an establishment inside the same compound which looks like a modern house or restaurant and it makes it feel like less of a shrine and more of a garden design. But nevertheless, the sculpture looks amazing and the place feels sacred still. If you close your eyes a bit you would feel how the Bonifacio brother's would have felt like in their last moment. Fighting for their country only to be executed by their own people. Anyway, nice place.. go visit.

A place full of history but neglected by the authorities as evidenced by rough roads and the shrine itself not taken care of well.... 🙂

I love the park. The attendant is very courteous and fun to talk with. He shared interesting stories about the historical site. He also showed us the trail to the top of the hill. Most of all, there is no scattered trash.

I just hope the government will maintain this lovely tourist destination.

An adventure to go. The scenery around the area is quite stunning.

Needs a bit of love from the local government both for tourism and maintenance as this place has a great potential.

We went here on our mountainbikes, it was a long hard ride but worth it at the wnd

Visiting historical places like this make us feel how history and culture in our country are so colorful and alive until now. We must preserve and take good care on this kind of places because it's one way to honor our heroes that gave there whole life and soul to our country. They fought for our country's rights and independence. They are the reason why we are already free and got the rights that we deserved. This place is one of those that symbolizes the bravery and determination of our heroes. On this place you will see some work of arts that show the hardships experienced by Andres Bonifacio. It's a bit challenging when you're going on the place but you will be surely amaze once you got there.
