If ever you are traveling North of Luzon & passing by Isabela particularly Ilagan, make sure to include in your bucket list our very own--Pancit Cabagan (Pansi).

Winnie's Grill uses pancit miki (manufactured in Cabagan, guaranteed fresh everyday) which is thinner than the noodles used in making batil-patong. The main ingredients are lechong carajay, boiled egg, and mixed vegetables. It goes with a dark broth soup of the cabagan. The cabagan goes very well with a mix sauce of fresh onions, soy sauce and calamansi. (Add some chilli paste to make it more Pinoy style.)

If you are in Ilagan, Winnie's Pancit Cabagan is a must try! It’s surprising that I never got to blog about this native stuff when in fact I always eat pansi. Travelers should drop by to Winnie's Grill to savor the unique taste of their very own pancit.

During our blog session at Winnie's Grill, the owners also served some of their specialties:
the Gambas (shrimps) and Tuna Gratin (creamy blue marlin). These are served on separate sizzling plates. The Gambas is really cooked well. You are about to taste a sweet-tender shrimps with very good texture on your mouth which makes it really mouth-watering dish. The Tuna Gratin tastes like a seafood creamy burger steak sautéd in butter which makes the aroma on a good level.

Winnie's Grill is not just for foodie, it's also a good place to hang every night most especially for night people who want to chill, have some beer (any alcoholic beverage available) and listen to live band.

Pansit

They have a nice pansit. Tasty. But, the last time na kumain kami dito, iba yung lasa. Di namin alam if nagpalit sila ng cook or what. And when we ask for the bill, bars yung total. Always compute kung magkano babayaran niyo, nagkakamali din minsan ang machine.
