Tagaytay Picnic Grove

A great place for a family outing on holidays. It is still open even during Holy Week and is perfect for relaxing. If you come by car, it is recommended to pay the parking fee when there are fewer people queuing, because there will be many people queuing when leaving in the afternoon

The best view point for the magnificent Taal volcano, a unique volcano that's surrounded by a lake. A great place to take a picnic, there are also a few eateries, and even a Ferris wheel for ultimate fun.

Bringing a picnic mat or tent is highly recommended for an exceptional experience. Not only does it provide a cozy seating area for you and your loved ones, but it also enables you to relish the picturesque surroundings. You can lay out your food and beverages on the mat or tent and savor the stunning scenery while dining. This is an excellent way to maximize your family outing and make it a memorable one!

Many locals come here to have a picnic! The environment is great! I can see the volcano. I like this place very much. There are also horses for taking pictures. However, you need to walk a lot. Elders should be careful.

It's a place for refreshing mind... You can relax, and enjoy with your friends and family while watching the natural beauty of nature. You can also see Tagal volcano not so far..

The renovation was a success.. We can now enjoy activites and diff. foods 🧡 Would highly recommend staying until sunset.

Really enjoyed my experience here with family ☺. Beautiful area with amazing views, lovely shops and zipline. Our tour guide spoke good English and was very helpful and friendly - he helped us to book a boat tour of the volcano also which was a trip highlight 🤩.

Good place to unwind and relax if you have kids. There is a wide grass area where kids can run and play. It's a nice picnic area. You can bring your own food here. There are also a lot of souvenir shops for tourists to buy to. For those who have their own car/vehicle, parking space is available.

A lot has changed here in the Picnic Grove. Now very nice and toilets are quite clean and maintained. Place is orderly, paths and stairs are clean, wide, and maintained. Lots of restaurants and souvenir shops. The whole place is recommended for a family picnic.

I haven't visited this place since I was a kid, but it remains a stunning location with the picturesque Taal Volcano. I particularly enjoy engaging in activities such as the Zipline and horseback riding. However, I'm uncertain whether the butterfly garden still exists.

Wonderful view of the Taal Volcano and the general scenery is great as well.

A lot of stores to shop souvenir items, clothes, keychains, and food/sweets.

There are also some landmarks/activities there such as the Zipline, Ferris Wheel, Viewing Deck (You can rent a binocular from one of the stores), and Horse Riding.

My only issue with the place is the lack of parking that caused a lot of foot traffic in the road and in some cases, the food stalls might not have a nearby trash bin so you are forced to go to the open ground/campsite to throw away your trash.

Overall a good place for outing, and family reunions.

Very astonishing view of taal lake! It was our first visit. We're from negros and the view of taal lake from picnic groove didn't failed us to be amaze plus, all food in cafeteria and store is affordable

First time here. Nice here for Taal Volcano viewing We're here dusk it's not that hot and sunny , right time for viewing.

I really liked the view but the price was a bit expensive for me. The zipline was good but it could be better if it's higher and longer.

I love it! The top has the scenic views of the lake, a public tourist spot at tagaytay. With ziplines and a lot of tourists, souvenirs shop to see, its not for free, though, but still an enjoyable place

We had a great experience with the family. There are activities you could do, like horse back riding. And the overlooking video of the lake just gives you a breath of fresh air.

Place is huge with a lot of things to do (horse back riding, zip line, ferris wheel, taal.lake boat ride and etc). Perfect for a chill day out with friends or family. Entrance fee is around 75pesos.
