Nice experience. Tour guide explained about the castle were queen and king lived there. the museum is really good and they allow kids, babies and also allows to take a photo

Nice place to visit in the La Punta area. Very informative to see the Inca artifacts and learn about Peruvian history. It was pretty cool walking the hallways of the fortress.

We came at a monday at 9:00 am, we payed 24/S for 2 people, and 30/s for an English guide. We had the entire place to ourselves.
The guide and tour were both amazing, we learned so much about the fortress and the independence history and wars of peru.

Not a ton to see but nice walk along the ramparts and they have a unique collection of guns and armoured vehicles including a Czech T38.

English guide was great! Solid piece of Peru history here. Impressive viarety to the tour. Don't be deterred by the armed guards in full gear at the front door on north side of fort , it is the main entrance. This is a live military base so don't go in and wander. I dont recommend walking around the exterior of the fort, people kept warning me that my bag would be stolen.

A very unique castle that comes from the spanish colonization times. Definitely join the tour and learn the history.
