This was an awesome tour. Small and personalized. Very knowledgeable on many levels of ancient civilizations and able to tie it together and make it relevant in context with other civilizations and globally. Great knowledge of the environment both flora and fauna. An overall A+++ experience. Would do it again tomorrow if I were still there.

Runa Turismo organized everything for us. Wie did a tour with them to see the Pyramids in Tucume and it was great. They have excellent guides. Julio was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and he spoke English perfectly. They even organized our next tour to Chan Chan and the bus tickets. Our english guide Cesar in Trujillo where the tour started was very knowledgeable and his English was good too. All in one i recommend Runa Turismo in Chiclayo as a very good agency. You just sent them a WhatsApp message and they will take care of everything you need for a very reasonable price.

Went on multiple tours with this company and would do so again. A great tourism company, super helpful guides spoke excellent English and were communicative, reliable and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to be flexible and helpful for my trip as well as provide extra recommendations. The sites visited included museums, archaeological sites and more. All were very interesting, but surprisingly few other tourists there. Highly recommend this tour company.

This was a brilliant day! I highly recommend it, the history of these civilizations is riveting.
Our guide explained everything in detail in both english and spanish, his energy was endless, going to lengths to ensure our day was the best.
At lunch we stopped at I think it was family restaurant, I am fussy eater - the food was excellent and lovely service.
The agency Runa Tourism where so friendly and helpful, they are brilliant. As solo traveller this makes such a difference.

After a little error on a website of a partner that lead to that my tour did not exist, Runo Turismo did everything to help me. So I could go on a other tour just an hour later the same day. I even got a private tour around the city as a gift. The staff is really friendly and helpful if there is a problem like I had. The guides have a lot of knowledge and give you a lot of information during the tours.

We found this agency on Google maps by chance, the other one with who we booked, canceled our tour at the last minute because there were not enough people. It turned out that the guide Johan speaks fluent English, knows so much about each site and history, he had really good personalized suggestions for us what to see more. He was the best guide we had in all of Peru. As bird watchers, he showed us all the species we came across. It's a great team with the driver Elmer, who drives safely and stopped wherever there was a need to take pictures of birds or anything else. Any recommendation for this agency and especially for Johan and Elmer.

RUNA were very helpful and worked hard to arrange a special tour for me at short notice. My guide Julio was outstanding and very knowledgeable of local archaeology and the history and culture of the north of Peru. He explained everything comprehensively and answered all my questions. His English also was excellent. My driver Efrain did a great job too. RUNA turned out to be a much better proposition than their competition.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about everything he told us. He knew everything about the region, from 5000 years ago up until now.
We saw the oldest wallpaintings and structure in America, visited an incredible museum, got some local brew in the village and went to a 3500 year old Shaman grave overlooking the ocean. I was unaware Chiclayo was this culturally rich. I advise this trip 100%

Very helpful. Informative guide, very passionate and knowledge about the subject. It was low season and nobody else has booked on the tour, but they arranged a private tour for us instead. Would definitely recommend Runa Tourismo.

We recently visited Perú for five weeks and spent time in Chiclayo so that we could visit the incredible archeological sites nearby. We were so glad to connect with RUNA Turismo for two private tours! RUNA provided us with a fantastic (and English speaking) guide, Julio. He added tremendously to our understanding and appreciation of the unique sites we visited. Elmer was our driver. He is thoughtful and capable. With Elmer at the wheel we were able to focus on the richness of the information and locations we traveled to see.
We spent two full days with Julio and Elmer: the first at Huaca Rajada/ the Lord Of Sipán Tomb, the Sipán Site Museum and the Ventarrón Archaeological Complex; then we spent another day at the Sicán museum and Túcume.
We highly recommend RUNA Turismo and the guide Julio! If you are interested in archeology you will enjoy visiting Chiclayo and Trujillo on your trip to Perú!

We stayed in Chiclayo for 3 days and booked each day another trip with Runa Turismo. Not only were the Tours very interesting and always combined with beautiful scenery but the guides were also very qualified. The guides and drivers were always punctual and very friendly.
And the best thing about Ruma Turismo was that even though we left Chiclayo we always could ask them for help (hotels, busses, tours and agencies) even in other cities of Peru.

Excellent experience with this young, promising tourist agency - kind, helpful guides with large specter of knowledge and high english language levels. Also the tours are well planned, with a good balance of archeological sites and nature. An extra plus is the birdwatching and photography skills of the guides, which makes experiencing peruvian nature even more enjoyable

Our time in Chiclayo with Runa Turismo was outstanding! Julio, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgable and captivating. We enjoyed the tour so much that none of the tour guides in Cusco/Macchu Picchu compared to the level of storytelling and detail provided by Runa. Highly recommend having a tour with them if you're ever in Chiclayo, Lambayeque. So much rich culture, archeological history and bird watching to experience!

We did the day trip to Sicán, Túcume and Lambayeque. Our tour guide Julio made the trip unforgettable. It was so interesting and he made history come alive by the way he was speaking about it. Really structured, informative and entertaining at the same time. Great archeological sites, bird watching and drive into history.

Una experiencia única,con muy buen guía.Un tour increíble a lugares hermosos

Tomamos un tour de tres días. Julio fue nuestro guía y nos explicó a detalle todos los lugares a donde fuimos y Efrain nos ayudó en el transporte. Ambos fueron muy profesionales, amables y serviciales durante todo el tour.
No es mi primera visita a esta zona y destaco algunos lugares que no son incluidos por la mayoría de agencias como Ventarrón que es un lugar milenario donde puedes entender que tan antiguas son las culturas en el Perú, Puerto Eten y sus vistas privilegiadas del océano pacifico.
El centro de Lambayeque con su plaza y sus históricas iglesias.
El ultimo día tomamos un tour para avistamiento de aves en el bosque de Pomac, nos prestaron binoculares para el avistamiento y Julio tenía una cámara profesional y muy amablemente nos compartió las fotos. Vimos más de 10 especies de Aves y un par de reptiles. También tomamos un delicioso desayuno en medio del bosque, para finalizar en el mirador con una maravillosa vista de todo el Bosque.
Fue uno de los mejores tours que hemos tomado en nuestra vida, totalmente recomendable debido al excelente servicio recibido y a un costo muy accesible.

Todo muy bonito aunque no pudimos entrar al museo del señor de sipan.

Pedimos a RUNA un tour privado de 5 días de Chiclayo hasta Chachapoyas con destinos arqueólogicos y de naturaleza. El contacto y la reactividad para la organización fueron impecables. El guía Julio es excelente, buen conocedor de la cultura, la naturaleza y las tradiciones; y apasionado por darlas a conocer. El chófer Efraim es muy atento y fiable. Dayanna muy profesional y reactiva en la organización.
Terminado el tour tuvimos un problema con nuestro vuelo de regreso desde Chachapoyas que fue anulado. Pedimos ayuda a RUNA y estuvieron inmediatamente disponibles para ayudarnos con una solución rápida.
