Casa Amaru Raqchi

A nice and simple hostel, run by a lovely family. They welcomed us with open arms and servered us heartwarming meals. We got a tour through the Complex of Raqchi, which was really interesting. Also the pottery workshop was a nice entertainment. But the best about it is the family who runs it. Loving and caring. We really recommend it.

An amazing rural place to stay and discover the wonders of the Peruvian Altiplano.
Travelling as a couple we had a double room with external bathroom. From the first moment entering this place, you become part of the family. Fanny showed us around and gave us a tour through the impressive Inca-ruins in Raqchi (in walking distance) and brought us to wonderful thermal pools (approx. 30 min drive). Her mother cooked delicious local food for us every day (breakfast was included, dinner for a small additional payment available). Her father introduced us to the local ceramic handcrafted arts.
This place has a warm, uncomplicated family atmosphere which we definitely recommend! Good base camp for discovering Palcoyo rainbow mountain and many other historical and natural attractions!

Staying at Amaru House has been a great experience. Fanny and her parents, Julia and Felix are extremely welcoming and uncomplicated, always willing to help and guide us around… but more importantly it’s a truly authentic experience to learn more about the day-to-day life in R’aqchi. Very recommended!

The Amaru family is extremely warm and welcoming, it feels like staying with relatives!

The location is great, within ten minutes walking distance from the archeological complex and Wiracocha temple.

Best genuine experience !

Une super expérience chez Casa Amaru, un établissement familial où l'on se sent très bien. Très tranquille et propre. La nourriture est délicieuse et copieuse. La démonstration de céramique est très intéressante. Et surtout l'accueil très très sympathique ! Bonne base pour rejoindre Palcoyo et Raqchi.

Cela ressemble plus à une chambre d'hôte tellement les propriétaires sont aux petits soins.
Ils ont même mangé avec nous (la fille).
Possibilité de demander une démonstration de poterie à faire sur place.

Nous avons dormi 3 nuits ma famille et moi dans la famille de notre hôtel F. Notre hôte est venue nous chercher à notre arrivée car la localisation n'est pas trop indiquée à la tombée de la nuit. Elle et sa famille ont été très accueillants. Les repas étaient succulents tout fait maison. Les chambres étaient spacieuses et confortables sans aucun bruit juste on pouvait admirer un beau ciel d'étoiles. Depuis Raqchi, nous avons été a plusieurs endroits facilement..notre hôte nous a proposé une marche vers le volcan et fait la visite du site archéologique de Raqchi. Nous étions à deux pas de la place du village . Séjour simplement parfait
