Casa Cartagena Boutique Hotel & Spa

We stayed here in November 2023 and it was a wonderful experience - the hotel is beautiful, the small spa lovely, the location great & the staff amazing (special thanks to Mani who took great care of us when we were experiencing symptoms of altitude sickness!). Loved it!

Wow! We cannot say enough good things about this beautiful hotel and exceptional staff. After long days of exploring, it was so nice to come back to a place that truly felt like home. Angie, Mani, Claudia, and the entire Casa Cartagena staff were so kind and accommodating. They anticipated our every need and even prepared a hot, fresh meal for us one minute before the restaurant closed! The impeccable service, gorgeous spa (complete with a eucalyptus-infused sauna) delicious food, and great location makes this a place we will definitely come back to again and again!

We had the most amazing stay at this hotel, we didn't want to leave! On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome, a drink and sweet treats, from then we knew we would love our stay. The setting is beautiful, with lots of patio areas and balconies to relax on. The breakfast had great variety, waffles &pancakes were very good. Shower was brilliant and room had everything you would need. Very clean, the cleaning staff do an exceptional job. The staff were extremely friendly, in particular Sandro who was very accomodating and Mani was very attentive. I have a lovely relaxing massage with Sandra. We will be telling all our friends and family! Thank you

This beautiful, historic hotel is close to the Plaza de Armas, museums, restaurants, and shopping. It’s in a safe area and the staff are amazing. The rooms and grounds are spacious and serene. The staff were excellent hosts and the assistance they provided was excellent. Breakfast was such a variety of wonderful foods and coffee options! We absolutely loved it!

Beautiful traditional house very close to the center of Cusco. Great service and very comfortable room. Two thumbs up!

This is truly a wonderful place to stay. The team are caring and concerned - nothing is too much trouble. The ambiance is superb - tranquil and peaceful.
The food portions are, if anything, over generous.

Beautiful hotel in tranquil settings. Attentive staff and plentiful breakfast and dining options. We stayed here for a couple of days while we adapted to the altitude. They offer some excellent herbal tea to help with effects. Would love to visit again

We had a wonderful stay in here in January of 2022 (Family of 4). The staff were extremely courteous and accommodating. The property was right in the heart of Cusco close to everything and the food and bar were top rate. We will definitely come back to stay here should the opportunity present itself, and I'd recommend this property to anyone traveling to Cusco.

One of the BEST hotels I have ever stayed. The rooms and grounds were beautifully designed to inspire an old Cusco feel with a modern touch. The staff were very attentive! It felt like the second we left our room for an outing (even just an hour) they attacked our room making it beautiful and clean again. The breakfast was amazing and the two regular staff members in the breakfast room were so friendly! The spa and steam room were very relaxing as well. The location is just behind the main square and is just in front of the hip area of San Blas. It is also on the same street to get to the ruins in Cusco! Overall, I cannot find one fault with this hotel! Everything was perfect!

This hotel was amazing. They had the most attentive, friendly staff ive ever encountered. They accommodated and helped us with all of our requests and went above ans beyond to make our stay there truly incredible. The rooms are large, comfortable and quiet. The courtyard is beautiful and the restaurant and food was lovely. I cannot say enough good things about their staff though-they made it special. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cusco-well worth it!

We enjoyed Casa Cartegena very much. While we weren't guests, we spent the day at their spa and dining in their restaurants. The food and service was some of the best we received in Cusco. The spa offered excellent value for the price and was a great way to relax with jacuzzis, steam rooms and massages. Will definitely return!

Loved Casa Cartagena! Very clean hotel with friendly staff! Very accommodating in everything we needed. The pictures dont do this beautiful place justice. They have a stunning courtyard, the food in the restaurant is delicious, pool/hot tub was relaxing after a 40 mile hike. Massages are the best in cusco. We enjoyed their free pisco sour lessons at the bar. We definitely recommend staying at Casa Cartagena when in Cusco!

Lovely and great atmosphere in Cusco, great location, walking distance from main square, fantastic terraza, huge rooms and relaxing spa!!

The spa was fantastic! Beautiful setting, great service, amazing massage. Use of hot tub, sauna, and gym included with spa packages.. well worth the money over the annoying massages advertised in the streets of cusco

Nothing negative to say about this place. Good food and room service. Amazing breakfast. Fantastic spa service. Only down side is no dogs allowed though very understandable.
