Museo Huacas de Moche

Nice museum with a lot of information about the moche people. Definitely worth a visit before going to huaca de la luna, to understand everything a bit better.

This is a great little museum. One of the best in Peru. You need to visit here anyway to buy your tickets to visit the huaca. I highly recommend spending some time in the museum for some context for what you are about to see.

Highly informative! We visited this museum in 2016, as part of an excursion from a cruise ship. It was full of full of remarkable artifacts of this civilization from so long ago. I highly recommend this museum.

Nice historic place with 15 sol entrance fee, guide included (English and Español). Round-trip takes appr. 1 hour. Very interesting!

El museo está muy bien cuidado por la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo. Tiene una buena colección de cerámica de la cultura Moche y algunos vestidos de la cultura Chimú. La atención de los encargados es excelente, aunque debería ser acompañada por un guía como lo es la Huaca de la Luna. Ideal para ir con amigos.

Un hermoso lugar y una bella experiencia para conectar, informar y conocer las vivevencias y sus costumbres de nuestros antepasados de la cultura mochica. Todo bien ordenado y detallado cada pieza del museo, bien conservado, los boletos cuesta 5 soles y para visitar la huaca del sol y la luna el costo es de 10 soles, visite fin de semana poca afluencia de público, un lugar ameno, agradable puedes comprar diferentes recuerdos, y réplicas de las piezas que hay en el museo. 100 recomendado para ir a visitar en familia y amistades.
