Chirapa Manta

This place is magical, like a jungle fairy tale. Here, I feel so connected to the wilderness of the amazon, the land and the river.
The Ecolodge itself is so beautiful, and the family that runs it are very caring and managing the place very professionally, with much attention to the detail. I came here for 10 days, but then decided to stay for a month and a half. It is a perfect place to spend your post dieta. There is a beautiful Maloka space where you can practice Yoga. The local woman that makes food, cooks so deliciously, and they also let you use the kitchen, if you want to cook for yourself. The village is just 10 min walk away, and it is such a lovely little village, I love walking there every day to get a coconut :) I can wholeheartedly recommend this place.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a week-long yoga and meditation retreat at Chirapa Manta in Tarapoto, Peru, and it was an incredible experience that left me feeling refreshed, re-energized, and spiritually uplifted.

The retreat was held in a beautiful and serene location surrounded by lush greenery and stunning landscapes. The accommodation at Chirapa Manta was comfortable and provided all the amenities I needed to make my stay highly enjoyable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.

The yoga and meditation sessions were the highlights of the retreat, and I must say the experience was truly transformational. The instructors were highly skilled and knowledgeable, providing a variety of practices that catered to all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. The classes were conducted in a beautiful open-air studio, which added to the overall feeling of serenity and calmness. The mindfulness exercises, meditation techniques, and pranayama practices helped me develop a deeper understanding of my mind and body, and left me feeling more centered, balanced, and grounded.

The retreat also offered a variety of other activities such as nature walks, waterfalls visits, and excursions to a nearby town, providing me with a chance to explore the beautiful surroundings and immerse myself in the local culture. The food was healthy, delicious, and made with fresh local ingredients, and the communal dining experience was a great way to connect with other retreat attendees and share our experiences. Chirapa Manta’s vegan food is some of the best I’ve had in Peru, and their portions are generous!

I highly recommend retreats at Chirapa Manta to experience the beauty and tranquility of the Peruvian Amazon.

What a wonderful place in a jungle away from a city noise. The lodge has a yoga studio, a working area, well equipped kitchen, cozy rooms in multiple houses distributed along the jungle and private access to a river.
The owners and staff are super nice people and were very helpful in many areas!
We will come again!

This is really a beatiful, relaxed place. Staff was very friendly and helpful, also arranged activities in the area. It is quiet and secluded but not isolated, nearby there is a small village with shops and restaurants and the city is about 35-40 minutes awat by moto taxi. Highly recommended!

Beautiful jungle setting with comfortable beds, nice facilities and tasty food. They care about the environment and their guests’ comfort. They merge these principles together for an amazing retreat experience. The walk to the yoga shala is no joke but just as in life: step by step, taking it slowly, with consistency, you’ll get there.

This place is sooo amazing!! Even just walking in the entrance you know that you’re in for a treat. The room was beautiful and super clean. The kitchen was very well equipped if you want to prepare your own food, or the food that you can order is super yummy!! 😍 Claudia, Javier and all the people that work there are so lovely and very helpful. We did a week or yoga and mindfulness and I couldn’t recommend it enough. I loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to go back. ❤

Really nice place to disconnect from the busy city life and enjoy the wonders of the Peruvian rainforest. Amazing service and great hosts. Would recommend 10/10.

Chirapa Manta Lodge superó mis expectativas totalmente. Las habitaciones y ambientes comunes están rodeados por un entorno mágico, donde el sonido del río y de las aves e insectos acompañan cada momento. Las experiencias que tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar se quedan marcadas en mi como unas de las mejores de mi vida: los masajes frente al río, el yoga, las sesiones de coaching con Claudia, el reikki y la exfoliación en el río. Me aventuré a la ceremonia de Temazcal y puedo decir que el universo me regaló la oportunidad de superar un desafío individual así como experimentar un hermoso encuentro colectivo.
Si tienen la oportunidad, visiten Chirapa Manta Lodge, aseguro que se convertirá en un lugar que visitarán varias veces en su vida.

Nos encanto el lugar fuimos de vacaciones con nuestra bebe de 3 años, todos super atentos y amables, el lugar mágico, lleno de armonía, naturaleza, el sonido del rió a unos metros, la verdad que es un escape increíble para los que trabajamos en la ciudad con el estrés y el trafico, super recomendable si te gusta comer saludable, comida orgánica, muy rico todo, el desayuno es muy bueno, se puede practicar yoga, tienen excelente wifi, hay libros y espacios chill out para compartir o hacer trabajo remoto, el clima buenazo, y no hay muchos moskitos ni zancudos, super fresco las habitaciones impecables!, gracias chirapa manta. volveremos muy pronto!

Tuve la suerte de disfrutar de Chirapa Manta en diciembre del 2021 y hacer un retiro de aero yoga que habían organizado justo para esa fecha…..les puedo decir que me encantó!
Chirapa Manta es un Eco lodge donde respetan al máximo la naturaleza.
La comida es saludable y con productos de la zona muy ricos.
Me tocaron días soleados y algunos lluviosos por la época, pero fueron lindos!
El dormitorio donde me alojé fue la suite inti manta, con una terraza con vista al río, súper cómoda, impecable y bonita.
Agradecida por haberme despertado cada día escuchando los sonidos de los animales, aves e insectos, el sonido del río, el lograr tener esa sensación tan linda y mágica que me llenó al cien por ciento.

Conectar con la naturaleza da paz interior y eso es lo positivo, para mí fue una suerte haberlos visitado, volveré pronto💚

Este lugar es maravilloso, especialmente para desconectarse del resto del mundo. La locación es justo al lado del río. El desayuno muy saludable. Hay un salón de yoga en la cabaña que está más arriba. Y los cuartos son amplios. Piensan mucho en el medio ambiente, utilizando el agua de lluvia y baños secos. Claudia y Javier son muy amables y siempre están dispuestos a ayudarte en todo. Volvería muchas veces aquí! Nos encantó!

Estuve ahí hace un par de meses, me quedé 1 semana. La atención excelente de todo el personal, súper atentos y amables; todo impecable y lindo, muy bien cuidado. Incluso me recibieron con chocolatitos. Lo recomiendo bastante. Fue una muy bonita experiencia.

Las instalaciones y personal de este alojamiento es de primer nivel. Perfecto para alejarse de la ciudad y cumple con su propósito medioambiental. Espero volver pronto!

Me encantó el lugar; es súper amigable con el planeta, tiene parte del río, vista hermosa desde el puente colgante que se pasa; tiene un salón que de vez en cuando hacen rituales; súper fresco; precios relativamente cómodos, atención súper amable.🤩

Un paraíso escondido en la selva alta de San Martín solo a 30 min de la ciudad de tarapoto. Escápate de la ciudad y sumerjete en una experiencia orgánica en todos los sentidos.

Departamento de San Martín, selva ideal para la meditación con uno mismo y la naturaleza de la selva mística y energética. Purificación en ríos de la selva , aroma terapia ., cuarzos, limpieza total del alma . Masajes relajantes .

Estuve trabajando en sus ambientes comunes con bueñ señal y una vista espectacular. Atencion de primera y gran disposicion. Nos vemos pronto
