Cevicheria - JOSELITO BARTOLO

The food was even better than it looked in the photos before we arrived. Really good flavours, portion sizes and price. The gentleman who served us was really friendly and helpful. We came at lunch time and it was clear it was a popular spot for some of the locals. Would recommend for anyone to come and get a bite here.

A fantastic place for ceviche and other Peruvian dishes in the Barranco neighbourhood. The staff were really friendly and the place was full of local people. The food is really delicious and reasonably priced.

We had a combo with a ceviche and causa, a ceviche and pescado a la plancha. Every dish was flavoursome, delicious and there was plenty of food.

I highly recommend going here if you want great Peruvian food at a decent price point.

I had a very relaxing meal at this small street side restaurant in Barranco. The staff helped me out with some English but also let me use my Spanish skills and we both had a good time. I’ve included a picture of my meal (which I enjoyed) and the Pisco sour prepared for me. I recommend giving Joselito Bartolo a try.

The food in this cevichería - Peruvian fish restaurant - is absolutely amazing! We've been there twice, first time I had a fish soup (Chilcano) which was not only delicious but huge and with a lot of seefood in it like prawns, pieces of fish fillet and also an egg yolk. The next time I had an even better dish but didn't take a foto, so enjoy guys this place is awesome!

Amazing place for ceviche and fish. If you want to try local food you’ve to go there.
We took the combo 1 and 2 and the price is very decent for what you get.
You’ll have more then enough food for the day.
The service is pretty fast and you can feel the street vibe there.
I recommend this place if you’re in the area and want to try some ceviche.

My top #1 in Barranco so far. This place is a small "hole in the wall" as we call it back home or your "mom and pop" restaurant. The food was amazing and even the sauces were to die for. Recommend 110% must go to and enjoy some divine ceviche!!

Incredible fish ceviche!

I showed up when they obviously weren't really open but they served me anyway. The food was good (combo of ceviche y chicharrón de pescado) and the portion big enough. But the best part is that when I went to pay, I didn't have enough money on me (and they don't accept MasterCard) and were nice enough to let me get back to my hostel to grab money while I left my credit card with them. And they were like "sure, no problem" even if it was dumb of me not to bring enough soles.
So yeah excellent service!!!

The ceviche Joselito was delicious! It was all I had though. Highly recommend. Nice little spot near the Main Street with a cute outdoor area. It was everything I needed at this time. The waiters aren’t too attentive but that’s everywhere.
