Casa Republica Barranco Boutique Hotel

Beautiful building with high ceilings and tiled floor. There is a grassy courtyard in the middle with many birds chirping. There is also a rooftop bar on the 3rd floor of the main building.

The staff (Rose) was very friendly when we checked in. She recommended restaurants, bars, markets, banks, and ATM and showed them to us on a map. We also got a welcome voucher for a complimentary drink on the rooftop bar. A tray of desserts was also brought to our room a few hours after checking in!

We had two wonderful nights staying in this hotel. Close to the beach where we watched an amazing sunset. The hotel was smart clean and relaxing. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful. A little way out of city centre but recommend the stay.

Lovely boutique hotel located in a quaint and artsy neighbourhood away from the bustle of downtown Lima. Plenty of nice cafes and restos and the coast is just a minute walk away. We had an enjoyable 2 night stay which was made extra special with friendly staff.

Special shoutout to Ramiro who was always full of smiles and excited to share food/sights recommendations whenever we crossed paths.

I truly enjoyed my overall experience at Casa Republica. The staff especially were very attentive, friendly and did everything they could to provide me with a comfortable stay. I felt like part of the family. I loved the breakfasts that were plentiful, delicious and had a lot of variety of foods including fruit, eggs, coffee and many fresh and tasty extras. The room was comfortable and serviced everyday. The hot water was hot and there was plenty for long showers and great pressure. I also enjoyed the rooftop terrace which had a variety of nice cocktails and appetizers. All in all I would highly recommend this reasonably priced option for travelers wanting to enjoy a nice stay in the very trendy Barranco District

An excellent boutique hotel. We had a nice suite overlooking the courtyard garden. The simple buffet breakfast was a great start to each day. We borrowed their guest bicycles several times to see the coast and cruise around the local area. The staff are super friendly and helped with restaurant recommendations and some bookings.

My recent stay at Casa Republica Barranco in Lima was nothing short of exceptional. Breakfast included everyday and they have good variety. They also have 2 bikes to offer for guests, no extra charge. They also offer free alcohol for one of the evening you’re staying, which was a pleasant surprise.
The rooms were decently sized and very clean. The only weird thing was the shower which was not fully enclosed to if you’re sharing a room with a friend be mindful you can see them.

Beautiful, clean , large and comfy rooms. Amazing breakfast. Great garden and rooftop. Perfect location in the best neighborhood in Lima. Feel luxurious for an affordable price.

Our second stay. We are a family of four, two young kids. I don't think we are there demographic AND they did great. Put an extra bed in the room, treated us wonderfully. They've expanded the garden, the restaurant and rooftop bar sense we were last here. All were hidden gems. It was like we had top-tier service, but to ourselves. Breakfast was a feast and a relaxing delight (pay for the inclusion, it's worth it!). The roof top had only one other couple, and fantastic music. We played games with our kids, 10 and 12. I think they should market as family friendly because everyone is great with kids, and kids think this is a place of wonder. Ask for second floor neat the library if you can. We couldn't get those rooms, but they feel just a tad special to me, but all rooms we've seen are great. Vegetarian friendly, and carnivore happy. Stay here for easy, not overly attentive, but delightful relaxed, well appointed, tasty food, and professional staff. Wish I could afford a month at this place. The location is to dream for. Across from Dedalo and steps from creative ocean-side walking. Come for the arts, food, and insane number of coffee shops. The Case Republica is a gem.

Everything was beautifully clean and the team was so easy to work with, including setting up our Taxis. They provided plenty of information on the surrounding area including Dedaldo, a wonderful Artesania with beautiful gifts.

Breakfast is not to be missed with a wonderful selection of fruits, sweet breads, juices and all day coffee.

If you enjoy personalized experiences in a friendly environment without breaking the bank, this is it. Enjoyed every moment. The building, room and public place. Location is prime yet quiet. A shout out goes to Romero, the helpful and friendly guy serving breakfast. The breakfast itself is all you need. Don’t miss a pisco sour on the rooftop bar.

I only stayed one night at Casa Republica but I like it so much the memories will start with me for a long time. It’s such a beautiful place! The rooms are gorgeous, with very comfy beds. All the amenities are great and the breakfast is incredible. In terms of location, it’s in a cute and safe area in Barranco, close to a lovely gallery (Dédalo) and a short walk from the beach and touristic attractions. There is a bar upstairs where it’s so nice to sit and have a drink. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful but special thanks to Ramiro and his colleague for going above and beyond. I would come back to Casa Republica without any hesitation!

We stayed here for the first part of our trip to Peru for our honeymoon. Everything was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond from our first day of making the room special for our honeymoon to leaving very early in the morning on the last day and having breakfast to go for us. The building itself is beautiful and grand. The included breakfast is very good as well. The location in Barranco is great. There are views of the ocean at the end of the street and it is within walking distance to all the action. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My ONLY complaint is the construction next door and the very thin walls. Construction starts late morning and continues through the afternoon. They do provide ear plugs in anticipation of this.

The staff are so friendly and the place is beautiful. Really loved their water filling station that provides purified water with cold and sparkling options.

The only issue I had was the bed was too short for someone over six foot. Had to pull the mattress away from the wall so I could fit myself and the pillow on it lol

My whole family and I LOVED this hotel! It is on a beautiful, quiet street in the coolest neighborhood of Barranco. The building and rooms are beautiful and comfortable. But most importantly, the team there is so kind and incredible and made sure that we had an amazing trip to Lima! Every day they helped us with little gestures like carrying our breakfast to the patio for us. Then on our last day they truly went above and beyond when one of us got very sick. It was a scary experience and not only did they let us extend our stay in the same room for a day and quickly call a doctor who was at the hotel in 20 minutes, the entire team kept an eye on us to make sure we were OK and had everything we needed for the rest of our time there. We felt so comfortable and cared for there that we truly felt at home and it is a hotel we will never forget. Thank you especially to Antonela at the front desk! We will be back soon we hope!!

This was by far the best service I have ever received in a hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and the rooms are exquisite. The rooftop bar has delicious drinks and snacks inspired by local cuisine. The breakfast is an amazing example of the many fresh foods available in the area and is absolutely can't miss.

I would recommend this stay to EVERYONE visiting this area of Lima.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The hotel is beautiful with a great interior garden where you can take meals and a wonderful rooftop bar. The location is great, in proximity to all the Barranco hotspots and close to the ocean. The rooms were really comfortable with lots of doors that opened to allow loads of light. The staff was superb and responsive. We stayed on Christmas Eve during the covid pandemic when many local restaurants were closed. They went above and beyond to organize a holiday dinner for the guest. I would definitely stay here again.
