3B Barranco's - Chic and Basic - B&B

Excellent stay, great room, fantastic hosts. Elizabeth and Nicole made us feel so welcome, and went out of their way to accommodate us and make sure everything was perfect. Breakfast was fantastic, and the location was quiet and accessible to everything, and safe and secure as well. Could not recommend this more highly.

This was our home in Lima! We felt welcomed like we were family. Nicole was very attentive to our needs and requests. Elizabeth and the other personnel too were all so accommodating. Breakfast was freshly prepared everyday with different choices to mix and match. The room and beds are very comfortable and well-lighted. It's in a very quiet nice area in Lima. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the fact that breakfast was prepared for us based on our request from the menu.
I really enjoyed having conversations with the owner.She is a nice and smart lady.
I appreciated their flexibility to checkin very late in the evening and also the fact that they kept our luggage a few hours after check-out.
Always asking about how I feel and providing the best advice when I was not feeling well, made me feel I was surrounded by hearty people.

Elizabeth and her team are exceptional, especially considering the 'Basic' B&B nature of the venue. I arrived on a late flight and as anyone who's traveled to Lima knows, the airport immigration is long and challenging. So after almost 90 minutes of waiting to get through immigration, it was almost 3am by the time I arrived at 3B. The driver they had organized to meet me was exactly where he was supposed to be and I highly recommend this Airport service. I love the fact that you have to bet buzzed in from the street, and they visually verify you before letting you in. It made me feel totally secure about leaving any valuables in my room. There's no safe. They did offer me a little lock box, but it's really just symbolic. Anyone could pick it up! But since they have strict rules about not letting anyone on the property unless they're registered, you can feel safe, whether you're there or not. All the staff are friendly and helpful with suggestions of where to go for shopping, touristic sites, places to eat, etc. It's in a terrific location, just a 10 minute walk to the center of Barranco, and maybe 20 minutes to Miraflores. They lent me a good quality bike to ride around town in, which I did every day. The breakfast is simple but tasty. The coffee is brewed strong (a good thing). The shower is good and has room for two. The bed is firm but comfy and they were quick to provide a fan as it was getting warm while I was there and they don't have A/C. For a solo traveler it's perfect. For a couple, the room may be a bit small, but there's nice communal areas one can sit and read or work.

We had a great experience here! The place was nice and clean, and pretty modern with a nice flair. The staff was amazing and so helpful. They spoke pretty good English and even wrote us up a plan to see Lima in a day. They even called a taxi for us and gave the driver our travel route for the day. Oh, and the breakfast was delicious too! I loved it here and would definitely stay again next time I'm in Lima.

Loved this hotel, it has a great location in Barranco neighborhood and near Miraflores and ocean walking paths. The rooms are clean and breakfast was lovely. The staff is very friendly and we so appreciated Elizabeth and her welcoming to Lima. She was very informative and helpful, arranging our airport transportation and extending our stay when my husband fell ill. Thank you!

Had a wonderful stay at 3B. The B&B is contemporary, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bedroom and bathroom were well equipped and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The choices for breakfast were very nice with good coffee and nice good food. Elizabeth was fantastic. Knowledgeable and easy to work with.

I was only supposed to stay one night. But I was there when there was an incident at the Lima airport and the airport was closed. I ended up having to stay two extra nights. Elizabeth was fantastic at helping me figure out logistics for my new flight and being able to stay at the B&B longer than originally planned. She gave me wonderful recommendations for restaurants and organize taxis for me to get around if needed. Nicole, the other staff was also very helpful. I had to get up very early for my flight the next morning and she made me a sandwich to go.

The location of the B&B is great. It’s a short walk to the Malecon With great views of the Pacific Ocean. Easy to go for a run and get down to the beach or over to Mira Flores. It’s in walking distance to many great restaurants, shops and historic sites.

Overall I highly recommend 3B B&B for your stay in Barranco.

I cannot recommend this place more. The location is perfect for enjoying Lima's most interesting neighborhood. The rooms are nice. TV/internet was a bit hit or miss (I had to manually restart things regularly).

But the real star of the show was the staff. My girlfriend unfortunately contracted COVID 2 days into our vacation and this hotel bent over backwards to make sure she was comfortable and happy. They delivered everything we needed to the room so we could maintain safe quarantine. Reception worked with me tirelessly to rearrange our reservations with unwilling plane and train companies, even arguing with them for me (since my Spanish is quite poor). I can't thank them enough for salvaging a bad situation and helping me make the most of our wonky trip to Lima.

We spent 3 days over there and we had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is various with 5 options which is much appreciated. Rooms are very clean. However it's a little bit noisy. Would definitely recommend this hotel !!

I've been to Lima six times and have stayed at this hotel on 5 of my 6 trips (it wasn't open the first time I went to Lima).

Firstly, the location is excellent. Barranco is a fantastic, fun, funky neighbourhood. It has come a long way in terms of development since my first stay way back in 2010. There are many good restaurants and cafes in the area. It is also a short walk over to Miraflores where you will find all kinds of shopping.

Secondly, the hotel itself is a boutique hotel. Not a large chain type of hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and large enough to accommodate two. There is no AC however, even in the height of summer in Lima, we didn't need it. It cooled off quite nicely at night. Wifi in the hotel was excellent. Breakfast is included with the room rate and Rosanna does a great job.

Lastly, and most importantly is the staff. Every time I come here is it like coming home. Enrique, Elizabeth, Rosanna, Carmen, Carlos and the rest of the staff feel like family. They are so warm and welcoming! This was the first time my husband got to meet them after hearing all about my previous stays at the hotel and he felt exactly the same way. They definitely will definitely make your stay memorable!

Did not disappoint! VERY helpful staff who spoke English at the front desk. Ordered our cab to the airport for us and allowed us to store our luggage after we checked out. Nice little common kitchen for everyone's use as well as where they make breakfast for you the next morning. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. I stayed here in September, 2014.

Wonderful hotel! Best place I stayed in my entire trip to Peru. The location in Barranco was perfect - only a few blocks from the water in one direction, and to the Metropolitano in the other. Central to everything Barranco has to offer, and not too far from Miraflores. The hotel itself was also just lovely. The staff was tremendously friendly and helpful, and the space was immaculate and, indeed, quite chic. I don't know why they call themselves "basic," as this place is anything but. It includes breakfast prepared individually, which in addition to a "main" (four options including eggs, a sandwich, cereal, or fresh fruit), includes toast with butter and jam, orange juice, and unlimited coffee, tea, and/or hot chocolate. Coffee service is all-day, and they have a free water dispenser so you don't have to constantly buy new water bottles! The walls were a little thin, but this is a small complaint, and in any event, the hotel will provide "sound conditioners" (i.e., white noise machines) upon request. If I ever go back to Lima, I'd stay here again, hands down. Very highly recommended!

We spent 3 nights end of July / beginning of August 2019 with my family (we were 2 adults & 2 teenagers) This B&B is small but really well located, safe, quiet and clean. A very beautiful and quiet hotel in the arts district of Barranco. As a bonus, it is also walking distance from Miraflores.

The service and breafast were excellent, which made the hotel an excellent value. Gabriela and Nicole were super friendly, informative, and a pleasure to chat with.

One of my best stays as a frequent traveller. I got my purse broke and the staff brought me to a nearby repair shop to fix it in 10 mins! The owner (Elizaba, sorry I know I must have spelled it wrong) is very nice and shared a lot ideas about the country the language and everything which made me felt like a close friend. Room is cozy and clean, breakfast is excellent! Recommended to all especially solo traveller or small groups.
