A brilliant place to buy alpaca goods. Prices are very reasonable for handmade items (think S/400 & S/150 for baby alpaca and alpaca sweaters, between S/250 and S/600 for table runners and blankets depending on the materials and size).
They also budget-friendly mixed items (not 100% alpaca)

We went with a rented car, not as oart of any group. But they were still nice enough to give us a quick presentation of the weaving method.

Definitely pass by if you're in Chincheros! Ms. Guadalupe and her colleagues explain you in detail (and she speaks English!) the entire process of weaving from scratch. She explains every step with detail and the demo is really good. She does not charge you but encourage you to buy something (prices are below to average). Totally worth the visit.

Absolutely beautiful hand-woven textiles, at unbeatable prices for what you’re getting! As a small-town lady from a small town, I wasn’t used to seeing such gorgeous handmade products; Tika sure changed that, and now I’ve seen the light. The women that work there are so so helpful and genuine, and you will definitely walk away with both some new knowledge about the weaving process and some beautiful products.

Run by 6 families, the quality of the wool is the softest I found in my travels. Very reasonable prices. Totally worth the trip to find them.

The woman at the textile store was refreshingly sincere and honest, openly informing us about which products were made of synthetic materials. Her transparency and commitment to providing accurate information enhanced our shopping experience, making us more inclined to recommend the store to others.

Tika is a wonderful place to visit. Whether for a weaving workshop or just to pass through and buy woven goods like alpaca sweaters or scarves, Tika is incredible. The prices are fair and the women are extraordinarily nice. I went to a weaving workshop with no prior experience, and left with a beautiful bracelet that I made myself with the careful and kind instruction of the women of Tika.

Yesterday I visited Tika with my friends and had the most wonderful experience of my time in Peru so far. The store is amazing and filled with so many beautiful textiles. We did a bracelet workshop with with the women who own Tika and they were so amazing, patient and really good at teaching the ten of us. I really recommend anyone who is nearby to visit this wonderful place!!

I love Tika! The women there are so nice and the weaving experience was incredible. DEFINITELY stop by here if you’re in the area or near Urubamba. Diego the sheep is so cute, as well as the puppy and kitten they have there. Guadeloupe, Mary and Maribel were extremely patient while teaching us how to weave. Would 100% go back again.

Let's be honest there are a lot of options around here for woven goods. I'll make it easy for you: pick this place. It's absolutely amazing and my kids absolutely loved the visit. They let my six year old daughter feed their little lamb (his name is Diego) and gave my three year old son a tiny llama keychain which he absolutely loves. It my be a little out of the way but it's so worth it, this was also our one-stop shop for gifts for friends back home.

If there's a place you could definitely bring your children or even your girlfriend to, Tika Centro de Producción Textil is definitely the place to go to. With the entrance covered by the most intricate and colourful pompoms, entering TIka feels like the beginning of a magical experience. We were greeted by the colours of various products on sale (sweaters, llama toys, tablerunners, gloves, handicrafts, ceramics and ponchos). Jane (my girlfriend) fell in love with the experience and found new appreciation for the traditional Andean handiwork/weaving methods. We enjoyed our time thoroughly and would definitely make this one of our go-to places when we come back.

We got one of our best experiences since we got to Peru. Tika offers a free brazalete workshop base on tips. We just got a lot of interaction with the women cooperative. We thanks a lot to Guadalupe our host that also prepared a delicious lunch for our group, quinoa soup and main course base on fresh corn and chicken. They can also make vegetation options.
