Yaku Restaurant

Love this place! All the food they served was delicious and relatively easy to eat, with not too much authentic Peruvian food which was good for us after tired of eating Peruvian food for a few days. The Margherita and burger pizzas, and Trout Salad were simply great.

My wife and I had our first dinner in Peru here. It set the bar extremely high. Everything about this place was awesome: food, service, and ambiance. Such a unique experience. Get a reservation and come slightly early. You will not regret it.

The food was incredible! We had the choclo al horno, causa acevichada, the sopa criolla, and the chicharron de cerdo and every bite was delicious. Our server Mari was excellent and checked in with us at the right frequency where we felt taken care of without feeling smothered. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also wonderful! It was clean, vibrant and warm. Highly recommend!

I ate here twice and really enjoyed both times. The food tastes delicious and is presented beautifully, portions are very generous (first time I had two starters & those alpaca skewers are definitely the size of a main!), and the service is excellent.

What a great restaurant in Cusco! Our waitress, Lucero, recommended the purple potion cocktail and the baked trout. Both were delicious. The trout was the best I’ve had in several weeks in Peru. The outdoor patio is lovely, as is the friendly and attentive service. The prices are only a little higher than other places, but the quality of ingredients is top notch. We will return.

Our waiter, Anthony, made our experience unforgettable. He gave us great recommendations and was very personable. The food was incredible and there was live music that was very enjoyable.

We got the tiradito which is picture perfect and combines many high-quality, fresh ingredients into a breathtaking dish. Might be in the top list of ours!

Choclo al horno with the Andean cheese was also so good, as was the grilled alpaca. Everything was done to perfection at a reasonable price point, with nice salsa music creating a casual ambience.

Michelin plates and service at great prices, don’t miss this when you’re in Cusco!

Good restaurant for large groups. We made a reservation same day for 10 people, and they were very accommodating via WhatsApp.

The group got a variety of dishes, tiradito, risotto, pizza, etc. I myself got the quinoa stir fry and it was delicious.

Restaurant had nice ambiance as well, beautiful courtyard lights and lively crowd.

This was one of the best meals we had in Peru and we ate at a lot of really great restaurants. Mari our server was fantastic. We had dinner here with our 2 kids (10 &13) and there was something on the menu for everyone.

This was a really nice experience. Aside from the amazing food (I can highly recommend the quinoa risotto and the pisco sour) the service was very fast and super friendly. Moses was our waiter. He was funny and accommodating and we had nice conversations. All in all it was a lovely evening with great food!

We had the soup and flan for dessert and both were delicious. Nice patio seating with heat lamps. We enjoyed the live Peruvian music

Went here based off the reviews and food was delicious!!! We shared the Tiradito de Altura it was an explosion of flavors and the tres leches cake was the best I have ever had!!! Mari was an amazing waitress!!

Yaku is an amazing place. The food, the drinks, the ambiance and our waitress, Brisayda was amazing. Truly had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend the alpaca burger!

We were at a nearby hotel. The board outside with the guinea pig first caught our eye. We had dinner there on 2 nights. The restaurant: maybe 15 tables, stoves and blankets to keep warm on a chilly evening, live music, overall very welcoming and comfortable. The food: River trout ceviche, alpaca steak, pork belly, chicken and everything else we had was excellent. The service: we weren't in a hurry so we were pleased with the pace of the service. Our waiter on our first visit (Miguel) was outstanding. He was attentive and amused us with a story about ceviche (cebiche). Stop by, you won't be disappointed!

Cute place tucked in between buildings. Outdoor, open air but covered. Impressive food and presentation for such a tiny restaurant. My friend chose it due to a good vegan option, grilled veggie platter.

I tried the pork chaufa which was delicious.
The chicken salad the women ordered next door was so beautiful….I’m sure it tasted nice too ;)

Amazing!!! Food is 10/10, had the Trout Ceviche, Al Packer steak and pulled chicken. Which was all amazing. Miguel was our server, he was outstanding. His local knowledge and positive charm really made our experience 10/10. A must visit!

This was an amazing place to eat in Cusco, Peru. Our hostess Mari was very pleasant and friendly and always wore a smile. The food was delish. We had Tacu Tacu con Pollo and papa a la huancaina. Our drink was the Chica Morada which I was super skeptical about trying but when I had my first sip it was a rap. Very tasty and attractive.
Do not go to Cusco without visiting Mari at Yaku.

What an amazing experience at this place! The food and the flavours were incredible. The baked trout was out of the world. Our server was amazing and the service was on point.
