I LOVE this clinic and everyone I have had contact with here. My doctor treats me with respect and looks for my input before making final decisions. She always takes time to answer questions. The front desk has always retuned my smiles and good humor.”
The care was outstanding all the way from start to finish. The Doctor put forth a high level of effort to deliver results. The support staff was very professional and pleasant. The facility was well equipped and designed for patient privacy, service and efficiency. The insurance was handled equally as well. We will highly recommend o2 medical, every opportunity. Great JOB !!!

I contracted diarrhea in Lima and on my second day in Cusco, decided to have the hotel manager call. They sent a doctor by ambulance and he examined me in my hotel room. He said I needed to go to the hospital right then. I couldn't have received better treatment anywhere. They monitored me constantly for the first 24 hours. I also had altitude sickness. That went away pretty quickly but the diarrhea turned into constipation. They changed my diet and we all waited until I was able. The food was also very good for an institution. They needed to test my stool for either a parasite or bacteria. Luckily by then I had neither. Discharged after three days.

Great service! A friend of mine felt sick due to food poisoning and the clinic staff was extremely kind, professional and helpful with both taking care of him and with assisting with the insurance paperwork. Fluent English and Spanish made all the communications easier. Much recommended for any medical issues in Cusco.

Went there with Food Poisoning and Diarrhea 5 days in. Was completely dehydrated and with low blood pressure. They took care of me the second i walked in.
The checked my vitals and decided to keep me over night straight away. Everything was arranged within minutes.
Absolute professional. Kind nurses and doctors. They know what there are doing.
I got infusion and lab tests. Everyone communicated what was about to happen. My Friend could stay there with me as well.
They took care of everything regarding the Allianz Insurance and they will cover the whole thing.
Highly recommended! Thank you guys for your help!

I became unwell while staying on Ollantaytampo. I didn't feel too bad, just tired and no appetite. While my wife and friends went on a tour a doctor was called for me. A nurse, doctor and an ambulance turned up. The doctor checked me,was concerned about my lungs and suggested I needed an X-ray at a clinic 30 minutes away. The X-ray revealed fluid on my left lung. It was determined I needed to go to the above hospital in Cusco. We returned to my hotel, picked up my wife and luggage and we were taken to hospital.
Despite the language barrier my care was first class. Various tests:- blood, X-ray, ultrasound and a stay in a hyperbaric chamber all took place rapidly. I had 2 litres of fluid in my left lung.
The following day a specialist took a biopsy from my lung, drained fluid for testing and drained a further litre of fluid. All the while, English speaking staff or Google Translate, kept us uninformed of what was happening.
The food was fine and the care great. My wife stayed in an extra bed in my room and was also well looked after. On discharge they even took us to our hotel in Cusco via ambulance.
Tests showed no bacteria in my lungs but, my only concern with treatment, is that biopsy results take a little over 2 weeks.
Side note:- our Travel Agency provided "Medical Assist" for us while in Peru. They were great and paid out $2,000 US for our care. Our private Travel Insurance insist we pay upfront and then make the claim process extremely painful - great when you're unwell!!

I am very happy with the services I got from O2 medical clinic Cusco. I am having altitude sickness after one day of staying in Cusco. I went to this clinic and was attented to immediately. I was seen and assessed by a very friendly doctor together with an accomodating staff. My vitals were luckily fine and my symptoms are alleviating from the previous day. After some radiologic and blood tests, I waited for the results for about more than an hour (and I understand the waiting times due to the emergencies being attended to. The doctor saw me again and was referred to the pharmacy and reception and was cleared for out patient service discharge. They also offered to pay for my taxi back to my hostel as to I ran out of cash! The hospital is clean with an accomodating staff. This is personal review from a satisfied patient. 😊👍🏽

Excellent staff and very willing to accommodate needs. Seemed experienced with trading altitude sickness.

I was in a low-tech room but it was more than enough.

Food was good too.

I was feeling the effects of altitude sickness very bad in Cuzco, Peru. I asked the hotel concierge to call me a cab to another clinic. He instead had this one send a nurse. I was a little skeptical because I know sometimes overpriced scam clinics pay hotel operators big bucks to refer people.

The nurse showed up and was friendly and spoke English. She did the oxygen test and found my blood SpO2 level was very low. She called the ambulance which was a nice, clean van with a stretcher. They hooked me up to oxygen and transported me to the clinic.

The clinic was very clean and the staff was friendly and spoke English. I sat on oxygen there for 8 hours. My O2 level was back to normal in about ten minutes, but if I had stopped it would have gone right back. (I knew that was true when they said it because I had done that at the hotel.)

Then they took the oxygen out and watched me for a couple hours. They made me sign a scary waver that said I was going to pay the estimated $500-600 out of pocket since my insurance doesn't cover me abroad. That's very expensive for some oxygen in Peru.

But when the bill came it was only about $200. That's a little on the high side down there (could probably cab to a clinic and get the same treatment for $100) but worth it for the treatment and the ability to speak English since mi Espanol es no bueno.

So I'd go to one of their clinics again if something similar happened. And if you are in Cuzco there's a very good chance it will. There are clinics all over the city full of people (gringos and Peruvians alike) suffering from altitude sickness.

I had to call an ambulance from my hotel at 0400h due to severe high altitude sickness from a trek I had just returned from. The attending doctor, who met me at my hotel and transported me was amazing even in my hypoxic state. As well, my nurse was so kind and educated and patient with me. All of the staff I met were wonderful. They took a scary situation and made me feel safe and cared for. Thank you.

It was a perfect experience. Was staying two nights (my girlfriend was allowed to stay in the same room) due to big problems with stomach and more.
They helped me immediately and now I am feeling very good again.
The hospital and service was nicer than a hospital in Germany. They cared.

We had a very good experience with them: they came to our AirBNB for a diagnosis, transported the patient and myself as the companion to the hospital due to altitude sickness and took great care of us. They checked on us often, explained the procedures and reasons behind well and also took care of everything with our insurance!!

If we ever get sick again and one of their hospitals is near we will gladly utilize their services again

We had a good experience here. They did blood work, stool sample, and gave us meds for treatment. The doctor came to our hotel room and took us back in their ambulance to run the tests. We paid out of pocket and the costs were definitely reasonable, especially considering what it would have cost in the states without insurance. Came back the next day to see an OB since my wife is pregnant and she was great too.

We had to stay in this Clinic for a couple of nights due to an strong infection. Everything was perfect - the doctors, the nurses and all the other people in the clinic were very friendly and they even speak english (in case your spanish is not yet muy bien 😉). We felt better very quickly and they made sure that we could start our trekking, which we had booked in advance.
They also came to the hostel for a first check up and managed everything with our travel insurance.
Huge recommendation for every traveller around cusco who doesn‘t feel well.

After reading the reviews I was hesitant but finally, I was very satisfied with the service. Contact via WhatsApp as well as Reception and doctor with good English. Best is to know what you want, ask for the price of each step in advance. I asked for consultation and a stool test. She convinced me to do a blood test in addition to that. The lab results showed that both were needed.

This place saved me. I got high altitude sickness and after three nights of suffering I called Llama path and they contacted the clinic and had a doctor sent to our air bnb. My pulse o2 was 53. I got put on oxygen right away and brought to the clinic and admitted right away. They took and X-ray immediately and found fluid in my lungs. They put me on antibiotics and steroids via iv. Spent the night and got great care. It was a little confusing and not exactly what I’m used to being from the states but this place is not a scam like other reviews said. They truly wanted to help and they did. 10/10 to the staff! Thank you to everyone that helped me that I didn’t get to thank. I hope they see this. Also 24 hrs of constant care and o2 and meds plus the X-ray was about $1000. Hopefully I get some money back from insurance but that would have been $5000 at least back home.

Muchos Gracias O2 clinic!

I had to go at the clinic twice during my stay in Peru. Everyone was very nice, and it feels good to be treated well when you’re so far away from home. Each staff member presented themselves in a positive, professional manner. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the waiting room and examination rooms. Staff speaks English and some of them other languages.

Dr.Aragon is professional, caring and knowledgable in the work he does. He has been very nice and helpful in explaining how to take the pills prescribed.

Both doctors I saw were caring, concerned, friendly while maintaining professional and efficient standards of service.

If you feel ill while traveling and seek medical assessment or ask for advice, this is a good place to go. The staff is helpful, friendly and speaks good English.

My girlfriend was bitten by mosquitos, and the bitten spots turned into big red warm spots, which felt ichy. Then overnight came diahrea and fever-like feelings (feeling both hot and cold). Afraid of having an infection we contacted this clinic based on the fact they have experience with travelers and good reviews. We could inmediatly come and were quickly helped. A medical assessment followed by a kind, warm and comforting doctor, whom we could ask all questions. He took the time to make sure we were helped properly.

Only point of attention is that on the phone we discussed a price for consultation of 160 soles, but were billed for 80 USD. We pointed out that we asked for the price upfront, and in the end we needed to pay 160 soles. My advice would be to be clear about pricing before taking their medical assistance, which is nonetheless of great quality.
