Intense Peru Travels

we had a wonderful experience with Intense Peru on two trips to Peru. We visited incredible archeological sites, enjoyed beautiful cities, stayed in the best hotels and restaurants in the different areas. The highlight of the trips was the excellent and knowledgeable tour guides, we learned a lot about the ancient cultures in Peru. Transportation was also excellent. On the second trip we went all the way to Bolivia and back to Peru. We can’t wait for our third visit with Intense Peru!!!!

I booked a trip to Peru for a friend and I back in 2016. Peru was completely an unknown country to us, and we had a limited amount of time for our trip -- 8 days. With a modest amount of time, and so much we wanted to do and see, Intense Peru was an amazing travel advisor and coordinator. Partnering with this thoughtful, detail-oriented, and caring company made our trip so much more stress-free, authentic, and incredibly memorable.

Despite a rocky start due to a weather-related flight delay in the U.S. (and being almost a day behind schedule), Intense Peru, through their strong and mutually-respectful relationships with their service providers, made sure that there was a car waiting for us at the airport upon arrival to provide direct private transportation to our hotel. Our hotels were all arranged by star-preference in each city, with wonderful suggestions made. In one instance, where we specifically requested a hotel in Cusco that was listing zero availability anywhere online, Intense Peru actually made some calls and got us booked into one of the most beautiful hotels we'd ever stayed.

With a mix of carefully chosen private, semi-private, and small-group excursions, Insense Peru thoughtfully tailored a vacation to suit our exact wishes and travel preferences. Tour providers picked us up directly at our hotel lobbies, our drivers were always courteous and on-time, the traditional ceremonies in which we sought to participate were arranged with true artisans and traditional practitioners with generations-long backgrounds in their fields, and our guides were top-notch -- both knowledgeable and friendly.

When we didn't show at our hotel for one of our tours (due to jet lag and time zone confusion), the operator didn't just leave us, but contacted Intense Peru (again, I credit their great relationships with their service providers) who was able to reach us while the tour company waited for us to run back to the hotel. At one other point, because Intense Peru double- and triple-checks its bookings and itineraries, a small snafu was discovered that required us to switch train departures and duck out of a tour a few minutes early. Not only was Intense Peru planning our way around the mix-up, but they sent a small gift to our local hotel as a small token of appreciation for our understanding.

I would not hesitate for one second to partner with Intense Peru again, and highly recommend them to you, my dear fellow traveler!

Wasnt collected from my hotel and company could not be contacted to find out why.

He hecho un tour con ellos y aun espero que me contesten al decirles mi problema con la intolerancia al gluten! No he podido desayunar xk lo unico que podia comer era mermelada! Lo que me da rabia es que ni se han dignado a contestarme los mensajes despies del tour y pidiendoles que necesitaba eso! Una vergüenza
