Es un buen lugar para los fieles devotos de la zona, aquí se encuentra el santo patrón del distrito: el Santo Cristo, se cuenta que fue extraído de un algarrobo y fue tallado perfectamente luego de que un agricultor se encontraba talando el árbol del cuál al dar los primeros hachazos el árbol arrojó un líquido rojizo, que tras el asombro del señor al ver por primera vez algo así, fue a avisar a los moradores del lugar que consideraron como un milagro.
