Sumaq Wayra Accommodation

We stayed here for two nights with our campervan in their backyard. Liliana is very kind. She did our laundry. We had breakfast here, one of the best breakfast we had at a homestay with a.o. fresh coffee, fresh juice and scrambled eggs.
In their backyard there is a toilet and sink facility so it is perfect when you are there with the campervan.
The kids loved it and we would definitely recommend this place.

Simple rooms, but nice breakfast and dinner. The service of the entire family was excellent. They stayed up for us when we wanted a late dinner and rose early to prepare our breakfast the next morning

Sumaqwayra te brinda una experiencia fantástica, te sientes como en casa. Muy buena ubicación, cerca a la plaza de Yanque.
Liliana y su ayudante Neptali siempre muy amables y al tanto de nuestras necesidades, los desayunos muy ricos. Las habitaciones limpias y muy calentitas, a pesar del frío la noche.
Si gustan de una experiencia alejada de la ciudad, la recomiendo al 100% 😀

Liliana est très serviable, son petit-déjeuner est très correct et ses soupes délicieuses.

My boyfriend and I stayed here during our time visiting Colca. It is a perfect location. The town has much less tourists than Chivay. Liliana’s place feels like home and has everything you need. She is able to make you breakfast and dinner which all taste so good. We will definitely be back and recommend for you to stay.

Mi novio y yo nos alojamos aquí durante nuestro tiempo visitando Colca. Es una ubicación perfecta. La ciudad tiene mucho menos turistas que Chivay. El lugar de Liliana se siente como en casa y tiene todo lo que necesitas. Ella es capaz de hacerte el desayuno y la cena que todos saben tan bien. Sin duda volveremos y lo recomendaremos para que se quede.

Sehr schöne saubere Zimmer mit heißer Dusche und gutem Frühstück. Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft lässt sich sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für eine Tour in den Colca Canyon bspw. zu den Kondoren oder dem Geysir nutzen.
Zudem können dort auch Fahrräder oder Motorräder geliehen werden, was sich bei der Landschaft und den Strecken wirklich lohnt.
