La Casa de Mayte

Great location and great rooms. They have a heater in the rooms if you need more warmth. They give you a key to the front door when they are sleeping. Everyone was friendly and the rooms were always clean. They had luggage storage for us while we were outside Cusco. Highly recommended for the location, service, and the rooms.

Located not far from the central square, Plaza de Arms in Cuzco, this hostel was lovely. We were promptly picked up from the airport (which we didn’t pay for, nor do I remember booking) which was awesome. The lady running the place speaks perfect English and man at the desk does too. Rooms are small but nice and have everything you need. A double bed, television, and bathroom. The room also has a heater. They also do laundry. Our room did not have a safety deposit box. They provide endless coca leaves and hot water to make tea. There is also breakfast provided - fruits, fresh bread rolls, ham, cheese, granola and yoghurt. It is opposite an amazing patisserie too!!

The service is great. They had an airport pickup and drop off. The location is best because the main square is 5 minutes walking and all the restaurants, shops and tour companies are near the main square.

Amazing place to stay in Cusco! It is very centric and you can easily walk to the center of the town. The staff gives each one of their guests a lot of attention, they even help you to organize tours. Rooms are spacious and beds are super comfortable. They include breakfast and free WiFi with your stay. Also, they always have “te de coca” which comes in handy to help with “soroche”.

Friendly service, 24 hour concierge, big rooms with a beautiful view of he city, laundry available for very cheap, free breakfast, and they stored our luggage free of charge while we did the Inca trail before we returned again. Would highly recommend to any traveler!

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Our visit to Cuzco was amazing thanks to services provided by staff at Casa de Mayte. Even though the restaurant next door is not part of the hotel service, it was very convenient and food delicious (thanks Isabelita).
The very same people who picked us up at the airport (Fransisca and Edgar) organized all the tours and transportation for us, and after comparing and seeing what other travelers went through, we realized the extra few soles that we paid were worth it.
Tours-transportation picked us up at the hotel and dropped us very closed. Hotel is conveniently located in the Historic District and only a couple blocks from main plazas, neighborhood of San Blas and the wall of the "12 angles' stone".
Suggestions and advise about where to eat and how to handle the height were on point. I would recommend you take a private tour of the ruins and Inca temples around the city with Edgar during your 1st day of visit so you acclimatize and learn at the same time.
Although the hotel gets a little noisy early in the mornings (6am-9am aprox.), once you sync with early tours and exotic beautiful destinations it won't matter anymore; you'll be glad returning to such a cozy and well located place.
BTW, rooms have hot water, WiFi, cable TV, free breakfast, and did I mention location?
I learned at the end of my stay that they also offer apartments outside the historic district, also in a nice neighborhood.

We felt like home here. We chose this place before doing Salkantay trek and we came back after it. Good accomodation, great shower and comfy bed! Definitely back once in Cusco. Lovely staff!

O hotel é simples, com bastante ruído devido ao piso de madeira , mas atende as necessidades de viagem, pois saímos cedo e chegamos tarde. O café da manhã é simples, mas vale, chuveiro e cama são bons .

Casa de Mayte está ubicada en el ciudad Patrimonial de Cuzco queda cerca del centro, hicimos muchos recorridos caminando para buscar lugares para comer y comprar recuerdos se respira tranquilidad

Único, familiar, es un sitio acogedor, tranquilo perfecto para descansar, sin grandes lujos, te reciben con el tradicional té de coca perfecto para combatir la altura! Su relación calidad precio merece la pena! La atención del personal fue impecable! Sin duda volvería! Unas vistas privilegiadas hay que agregar!

Hotel muy acogedor.Habitación y baño correcto.Desayuno con fruta,zumos,panes y varias mermeladas y té. Muy amables.Servicio de lavandería.Nos guardaron las mochilas cinco días.

Excelente atención, cuarto pequeño pero bonito y cómodo, todo muy limpio y el desayuno muy rico y contundente. Muy buen precio y excelente ubicación, a 3 cuadras de la Plaza de Armas de Cusco.

Buena locacion. El calle al friente es pequeno pero tiene mini mercados I restaurantes. Francisca I su trabajadores son muy amable.
