Enrique Malek International Airport - David

Very good regional airport. Clean amenities at the entrance and past the security area. No water fountain past the security area. Good WiFi connection. Cordial and efficient security personnel.

Super easy little airport. No need to get here too early. Only 1 terminal. Coffee shop is outside security.

Baggage came very quickly on the single baggage belt. Very quick turn around.

Everything super fast and easy. Airpanama is fine with a backpack and don't really give you hassle to be 4kg strictly.
Taxi to David airport costs us 3$ for two people just half a km away from the bus terminal ( from Miguel de Cervantes park).

I love arriving at Enrique Malek Airport, which means i am home safely.

This a great little airport. Please be advised YOU will need to descend stairs on the tarmack when deplaning as well departing . You will need to request a wheelchair if walking long distances is any issue. Airplanes are not close to physical building.

Once inside airport it's lovely, bright nice bathroom's to use. Coffee and goodies located a inside 💠

Flight time from Panama City is quick and pleasant as well return.

Has to be one of my favorite airports. Small and efficient most of the time.

Be advised YOU must have some command of Spanish should you have any issues with baggage etc. English is not readily available every day and every dept.

Totally uncrowded. With only a few scheduled flights in or out and a small terminal this place is a breeze to navigate.

Quaint airport. Very efficient, we were surprised by how quickly our luggage came out. Plenty of taxis to get downtown. There are plenty of rental car offices right at the airport.

Smoother process than in the past. They're improving 👏🏽 every year.

Great regional airport. At the present time Covid testing is required to fly from here to Panama City. It’s free and takes 30 minutes. To the left of the Air Panama ticket counters are stairs and an elevator. Can’t miss it.

This is a super airport to land or leave from.
However ... If you require a wheel chair or help with transportation DO ask. The planes board and de plane away from the usual gates.
People have always been very helpful here!

As a broke 20 year old backpacker I found myself stranded in David back in June 2018, with no money, no phone and no ticket home to Canada. I ended up crawling in to this airport at 10pm after every flight out had already left. I explained my situation to the staff and not only did they get in touch with my family to help me book my flight home but one of the staff, Minerva, even offered me a bed in her home and fed three meals before I was able to fly out the next day. I was truly touched by the staff's generosity and hospitality. Hopefully one day I will make it back to thank them some more!

Always easy in and out. Nicest people working there. Copa and air panama fly to Davif. Parking is free.
