The half hour walk up the steep hill is easier than expected. Nice forested surroundings with some great photo opportunities of the city skyline on the way up. From the back of the hill, you can see the Miraflores Lock of the Panama Canal, which was a bonus. If on the hop on hop off bus, you should be getting off here. Totally worth it

Amazing experience hiking up this hill to the flag please enjoy the pictures! They don't do the trek justice.

The road is a bit difficult but the chasm has its reward, everything is free, except for the parking that has the cost of 1$ the best thing to do is to carry water to stay away

The best part of going up Cerro Ancon... you get an awesome view (and photos) of the big ole 🇵🇦 we always see from down and far away.

#ProTips:

- Bring water, there is none to buy or drink up there
- Bring a towel. Panama is hot and humid and you'll be sweating
- If you want to avoid a crowd, use Google stats or start to go up at around 11:00am (most people avoid the noon sun but you are mostly going to be in shade by the trees all the way)

Moderate to easy hike. Enter on foot past the quarry heights gate. Up the road to the left. Follow the signs

Beautiful little spot with great views and vendors selling snacks and shaved ice. Clean and a really easy safe walk from Casco Viejo!

Must see place in Panama City. A 30 minute trip to the top but worth the view!

Pienso que más panameños deberían conocer y visitar este hermoso lugar y qué es tan importante para nuestro país y nuestra historia.

Die Flagge steht auf der zweiten Ebene des Cerro Ancon.

Der Zugang war leider durch einen Zaun und ein verschlossenes Tor versperrt, aber es war trotzdem kein Problem, Fotos zu machen.

Die Aussicht ist sehr schön. Es dauert ca 20 Minuten ab dem Punkt, an dem man sich bei dem netten Herren in die Liste eintragen muss.
Wir haben unter anderem mehrere Tucane gesehen und sogar auch ein Faultier.
Mitte. In Panama City an diesem besonderen Ort war das Faultier sogar unser Highlight.
Sehr empfehlenswert und auch mit Kindern machbar - auch wenn die Flagge selbst nicht so spektakulär war

Bardzo fajne miejsce, ucieczka od wielkiego miasta. Wejście łagodne, asfaltową uliczką. Po drodze mija się dzikie zwierzęta. Polecam

Buenísimo ! Caminar en medio de los árboles en medio de la ciudad . Hay unas vistas increíbles de la ciudad , del casco antiguo y del puente de las Americas . Además poder ver muchos animales , los que yo vi fueron : alcones, tucanes, cotuza, oso perezoso . Es una parada en Panamá . Es muy seguro hay policías y son muy amables . Recomendable ropa cómoda , agua , y algo de comer . Puedes llegar en taxi o Uber es lo más recomendable .

Hermoso lugar. Vale la pena ir.

Solo un dólar el estacionamiento
