Geoversity is changing the world for the better in amazing ways. The vision is truly sustainable and even more, regenerative. They have been replanting forests, developing techniques to build gorgeous buildings with bamboo and working with local people to teach skills that will hopefully be spread further and further to allow a comfortable way of living while touching more lightly on the land. Everyone who works here is passionate, knowledgeable and committed to making humans partners with our planet instead of a burden on it.

Centro Mamoni is a beautiful facility for groups and workshops in a stunning Rainforest preserve. Food served during the workshop was simple, healthy and delicious. Staff are helpful. Great social media presence. Amazing work at this place!

Beautiful reserve, you are in the middle of a jungle, you sleep and dine in bamboo cabanas, the attention is very kind. You can visit the Mamoní river, there are trecking pads in the middle of exotic jungle, you can feel a real immersion into the richfulness of nature.

Geoversity runs this lodging option in the Mamoni Valley Preserve. The accommodations have a range of options from camping in a communal setting with shared bathrooms, to glamping in architecturaly appealing bamboo and timber rainforest open air cabanas, flush toilets, hot water, and WiFi en suite. Typically hosting scientists doing research, groups of college students from North America, activities and programs from the nonprofit organization itself, etc. The food it's really wholesome with many creative recipes and vegetarian options. They always use some ingredients grown right there. There are several trails from Centro Mamoni - some are short and go through a mosaic including secondary and primary forests. A loop trail goes through significant primary forest and to the Continental divide and is fairly well marked with several benches throughout - this trail has several steep and challenging portions but the benches make for great rest stops to appreciate the forest. Centro Mamoni also has a chemical-free pool, with proper lap length, that is a flow-through pool fed by a mountain stream and framed by the forest. the facility is off the grid and is powered by solar and micro-hydro power. A 4 by 4 vehicle with substantial clearance off the ground is needed to reach this facility.
