Sunset Beach Lounge

What a slice of Italian heaven in this little Panamanian town! The biggest selection of Italian food and drink I have ever seen in one place. Our pizzas were awesome, and the conversation with the owner who waited on us was delightful as well. Finished our evening off with some of their yummy gelato - such a treat!

If you are looking for a perfect Italian pizza, this is the place to go. Really enjoyed visiting Sunset Beach Lounge.

We stumbled upon this spot for dinner and we're pleasantly surprised at the quality pizza. Also had some amazing fruit smoothies. We were to full to try the frozen desert options but they looked incredible. Can't wait to come back!

Had a fantastic meal last night. It was a quiet, rainy evening and we were striking out on finding a place for dinner. Thank goodness we stumbled upon this gem - Michelle welcomed us in (and our dog) and we enjoyed an excellent pizza on the back patio. Super friendly and prompt service, very reasonably priced. Highly recommend checking out Sunset Beach Lounge when you're in Las Lajas. Save room for gelato at their shop next door - great flavors!

This was the most surprising meal, the pizza was as authentic as it gets, the service absolutely top notch and in the most unbelievable location near a beautiful beach. This isn't just good pizza for panama, it's good pizza period. We didn't get to try their gelato, but we will be back. The owner and his wife, Michelle were very welcoming and we loved spending time hearing their story. What a gem 💎

Good food with very friendly service even in English (I guess we looked a bit lost with the Spanish Menu). We also got icecream there afterwards which was delicious and available in many different sizes. The price was also very reasonable for the food and drinks we’ve had.

Wow! What a perfect find in Las Lajas! Everything seemed closed except for this place--owner Michelle welcomed us in and her super friendly staff served us drinks and delicious Italian pizza. On top of that, they welcomed us to their gelato shop next store for some amazing dessert. A definite must-stop if you're in Las Lajas!

Just wow. We stumbled on this gem by accident. When we showed up we had just been at the local store for some beers and the owner offered to keep them cold for us in their fridge. Great customer service all around; from describing the food, to chatting about life and living in Panama; made us feel at home and valued as customers.
The restaurant carries craft beer from Panama City at a very reasonable price. A nice change from Balboa or Panama beer.
The food was phenomenal. We started with a green salad that was excellent. The Italian chef made a Diavolo pizza to rival any I’ve had in the world, including Italy. We also had a burger (many different types available) with special spicy house sauce. That sauce alone was worth the visit.
The prices were very reasonable and the ambiance was nice (you could sit on the front porch to see the neighbourhood, inside for A/C, or out back for privacy).

Delicious Italian pizza! So far the best dinner we had in Panama. The ingredients are of best quality and so is the taste. The owner is super friendly and even called a taxi for us to get home. Make sure to get some ice cream at their gelateria just left in the same building complex! It is as good as their pizzas

This place is just perfect- if you love authentic Italian food this is the place for you. The pizza and pasta is great. And the service and owner of the place is really nice. We loved to chat with her.

A delightful new spot in Las Lajas. Good eats! Features Panini and Hamburgers with some interesting combos. I especially like the craft cocktails - interesting and tasty little twists on some old classics. The owners are a cute couple, and good company if you are dining alone. I'll be back!

We had a really nice evening in this small and cozy restaurant. The food, cooked by an Italian cook, especially the pasta, is amazing and the owners are so kind and welcoming. Big recommendation!
