Residence Las Lajas

Ramona and Paulo we're very friendly and accommodating. They helped us figure out our travel plans and gave us great recommendations for a day trip. The Place was super clean, the grounds are beautiful with lots of flowers. Peaceful mountain view not far off of Panamanian highway very convenient. The pizza at the nearby pizzeria was great. They are both artists so it's fun to see what they do. She paints and he does mosaic all around the property.

We had such a great time here! Ramona was so lovely, charming and helpful, especially considering me and my boyfriend speak very (very) minimal spanish. The place is filled with beautiful art pieces, healthy happy plants and a stunning hand tiled pool. The location is a quick drive to the long sandy beaches of Las Lajas. Breakfast was delish, hearty and the coffee was the best I've had since our Panama trip started. Such a wonderful stay 🌹

Great little B&B along Pan Am Highway. Room was big, water pressure good (hot water wasn't so hot but no problem), great views from the balcony of my unit. Good prices (cash only). Excellent breakfast. Beautiful pool in an amazing garden.

Really hospitable host and nice breakfast.
The swimming pool is warm. And the bedding is comfortable. Recommended.

If you take bus. Stop at Felix , and take a taxi (2 dollar) or walk 15 min.

Way to cheap for what this couple offer:

Very nice, well maintained apartment in a beautiful garden, with hot shower, good beds, and the pool right in front of your door. Lots of privacy. Good breakfast in the morning.

5 Minutes from the restaurants, 15 minutes from the beach. (Where you pay almost double for a room without the breakfast)

I stayed one night at this lovely place, in route from David. I really enjoyed the peaceful, village atmosphere, tasteful room with their own artwork, the garden, pool and a great dinner. Though they usually don't allow food or drinks in the room (which I did not know prior to reserving), they were flexible when they understood my reasoning and did go out of their way to try to find a solution that worked for me. For example, I prefer to order food to go with the pandemic, instead of eating in a restaurant, and they kindly served me outside the room. I wake up earlier than they serve breakfast, and they kindly agreed to fill up my thermos with coffee the night prior. I do appreciate them being flexible with the little things. The food served was very good, with very nice people.

What a fantastic 5 star location is this! We made a big mistake to book only for one night.. This place is so quite, beautifull, clean and in to nature. The owners are very kind en helpfull. Don't hesitate and book this place for at least 3 nights!

The rooms and grounds are clean and well decorated, authentic Italian food with generous portions but the highlight without question the owners, Ramona and Paolo made us feel at home. 10/10 if you're in the area

The perfect place to spend your holidays near beach !

Thank you very much Ramona and Paolo! Unfortunately, we only had one night in your very clean and tastefully decorated residence on our way through Panama. Next time, we´ll stay longer to enjoy Paolo´s Italian cuisine and the warm hearted and friendly surrounding near to a nice and spacious beach!

Two of us were road tripping in February 2015 and were told to check out Las Lajas. We found this great B&B find! A great value and beautiful place to stay. The hosts were informative on when restaurant was open and when breakfast is served. The breakfast was refreshing and filling!! We had a car, so we just drove down to the beach (15ish minutes?) Ask the hosts where there is free parking (left at the T).

I would recommend staying here. I'll try to add some photos if I can find them.

What a wonderful little B&B. The owners are true hosts, and very charming. The Italian dining in the restaurant is first rate. And the setting is so picturesque. Breakfast is included in the morning, and it is a full meal. If you eat at 8:00 AM, the breakfast they serve will stave your hunger until 2:00pm. I give this B&B my highest recommendation! BTW cash only.

Lovely, clean, good price and the hosts are wonderful. They can cook you an authentic Italian meal. Would definitely stay there again.

Went for the food and it was nice. Especially enjoyed the service and the friendly Italian couple running this place. Would just return for them, very good people. And nice to have decent Italian food in Las Lajas.

Grandioses B&B, wonderful, spectacular

Un luogo davvero incantevole, gestito con cura e calorosa ospitalità dai proprietari, Paolo e Ramona. Le spaziose casette colorate si affacciano sul giardino pieno di tantissime e bellissime piante diverse. Due piscine di cui una con idromassaggio, lettino e ombrelloni completano la proprietà.
Buona la colazione, in particolare la soffice e profumata torta paradiso.
A due passi dalla bellissima spiaggia di Las Layas e con diversi ristoranti nei dintorni.
Quadri, sculture e decori fatti personalmente da Paolo.
Consigliatissimo.
