Ruby valley guest house

When we arrived already in the dark at Somdang, the owner, a very nice lady, welcomed us immediately with some tea. The lodge is very basic, but very lovely at the same time. She is just adding a new building with definitely more luxurious rooms, but it was still under construction. Compared to all the other towns nearby, she offers a great variety of meals, it was all very tasty and big portions for hungry hikers like us. Her service and dedication to satisfy her customers is amazing and we felt very good, so we stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed a day off, with a little hike into the valley and sunbathing/relaxing at the place. In the night she would always make fire in the woodstove and we could have hot water for free over the whole day. There is only one more lodge in town, but anyway we would definitely come back again to this nice lady and her lodge.
