Thado Jharna Markhu

The best place to spend a day in summer, you get buses from kathmandu 3 to 4 hrs on buses, 1 hr hike way, bike can be taken upto the place, one of the best booming tourist destination, fresh weather, far from city, you will have your amazing day and memory, worth it place to travel, one of the most suggested plave to travel

This place is one of the undiscovered place in Markhu you might not know about.
- it's almost 2 hours hike from markhu
- the JHARANA is opposite to the lake so you can cross the lake on boat or suspension bridge.
- there are no shops or hotels on the way but you could find villages and people on the way and if it's spring, Rhododendron all the way would make your hike awesome

it is the best place to visit in summer. the nature made me feel me very refreshment. the water fall is cool and u can swim there too .
i suggest people not to throw garbage there and please do not throw underwear there.

A chill place near kathmandu if you are near kathmandu and want to spend time with you loved ones or friends. With a natural swimming pool and the waterfall. There are different way to reach over there
1) You can use boat and go across the lake and hike upto one hour
2) If you want some longer way you can go from Tistung side which is comparatively longer by 2.5 hours
3) There’s another shortcut way ie take left turn towards dam and from there it will take only 1 hour

3hrs ride from ktm to jharna
offroad 40min from dam to jharna.
temporary shop can be found in the entrance of jharna
