I decided to stay here after reading a review about it being clean and providing great food. At first I had difficulty finding this place because it is not located in the village of Jagat as Google Maps shows. It is actually about a 10 minute drive further north, but people in the village won't tell you that because they want you to stay there instead.

I highly recommend Nepali Kitchen Guest House. The owners, Pancha and Dilu, are gracious hosts and the food is better than most food I found in Kathmandu. Pancha also built pools along the river nearby to contain natural hot springs that are perfect to soak in after a long day traveling or trekking. Lastly, I'd add that Pancha started a preschool in Jagat and teaches the kids himself 6 days/week. This is a great place to support.

Magic place, magic staff, magic food !
The favorite place of our trek especially for eating. The Dal Bhaat is the best eaten yet. In addition there are hot springs nearby ! ^^

While most of the places didn't want no new faces at all due to the pandemic, they welcomed and served me with great food, Mr Pancha took me to a natural hot spring on his bike & his wife who served almost everyone who came to this place, all I could say is thank you
