HEMA Eindhoven-Centrum

I'm happy HEMA is still around after so many years while some other national giants have shut down. I have been coming here since I was a teen, I'm now an adult, so a good 15 years. Prices are always fair, good quality, large collection of items a lot of different categories, great stuff for kids and parties. The Dutch culture shines through, in different ways, one of them being the "Miffy" (Nijntje) collection. They also have cute planting stuff, seeds and grow houses even. Grab a snack there or take some "rookworst" home. I feel like I should get payed for this review hahah but I just wanted to share my positive experience.

In the restaurant, you can have breakfast. Five items for € 2, additional items for € 0.50 each. Some options: croissant, omelets, fruit salads, orange juice, coffee, cheese, ham, jellies.

Good bier and lovely asparagus’ soup! Great service!

It’s good but very small compared to the other cities

Hema cafe is on 2nd floor. The place are nice and cosy, we can enjoy 18septemberplein from the window (9f course if we sit next to the window), they have combi deal for snack, lunch and also for 4-6pm (coffe and taart for €3.25). We can take coffe directly from the coffe machine then pay. The price in the cafe are a bit expensive compared to another Hema. The store itself is also nice. They have good quality products for baby and kids. They have small lift, sometimes there is a long queue for parents who bring their babies/kids with stroller/buggy. They have toilet and also a corner for changing diapers in women's toilet. The toilet is not free, need to pay €0.50.

We can always have a €2 breakfast 6 diff item u can choose with their choices (bread, croissant, jam, eggs, orange juice and coffee or tea) only time limits until 10 am 😉.

The only Hema store in the middle of Eindhovens city centre.

Dutch variety store characterized by relatively low pricing of housewares, which are mostly made by and for the chain itself. If you're visiting Eindhoven as a tourist or expat this is the perfect store to pick up some typical Dutch snacks or goodies for your friends and relatives back home.

There is also a small restaurant and food division where you can sit down (or take your food on the go) and enjoy some warm Dutch snacks

This place has a nice collection of utilities and home decors. I usually go there for home decors. This time I bought some nice candles

Definitely get the HEMA app for coupons (take advantage of their free birthday tompouce). Love their huge selection of home accessories
