Zuiderzeemuseum outdoor

Fabulous visit. Very clean & tidy. Very organised and interesting. People very friendly. Great for families with plenty to keep the children entertained. Recommended.

I am not really a museum person as I do get bored easily! Having said that, this is a museum that brings history to life. We took the ferry, which is included in the entry cost, from Enkhuizen. This is a short trip of about 10 minutes over the water to the Outside part of the museum. The museum is set up as an actual village where you can enter every building and see just what they would have been like back in time. There is a bronze age farmhouse, 19th century cottages, a chemist's, church, dry cleaner's, post office to name just a few of the attractions. There are also catering facilities which are not expensive. We spent the afternoon there and did not have time to see everything. A great day out and kids will love it too.

Wonderful place to visit. Gives a great history of the fishing and maritime industry around the Netherlands. Great to see the 16th and 17th century reconstructed buildings. Peaceful and well worth the train ride from Amsterdam.

Really a beautiful museum to visit when you have the time. The personel and volunteers are very friendly and know a lot about the park. We went here when they hosted an old fair and it was really awesome. Everything looked nice and they have the most information in Dutch/English and German which is very nice if you don't speak Dutch

Absolute must see in enkhuizen. Especially when all the volunteers are practicing their craft. Fun to see a smith, broom maker and coal washing plant running!

And if you have a museumjaarkaart it’s free and a great place for a walk.

Such a great and authentic place. Wander about an historic village and find out about a hard but satisfying life.

A must visit, fantastic historic experience

Heerlijk dagje uit met moeders. Prima ontvangst. Helaas vanwege het weer de boot reis overgeslagen. De organisatie bood ons een goed alternatief. Na de luch oppad met de gids. Hij kon het verhaal goed, mooi vertelen. En onderbouwd met extra kennis gaf het verhaal meer body. Wel een lastig parcour met de rolstoel. Super dat ze historisch erfgoed zo goed onderhouden en gered hebben van de ondergang. Zeker een tip voor een dagje uit.

Liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnhäuser, Werkstätten, Geschäfte und öffentliche Gebäude. Sehr nett in die natürliche Umgebung eingegliedert mit Schafen auf der Weide.

Uitstekend museum. Goed onderhouden. Voor elke leeftijd. Genoten

Top! Wat een ontzettend leuke, mooie, interessante ervaring om dit werkelijk schitterende museum te mogen bezoeken. De bootreis erheen is een aanrader met prachtig uitzicht, de mensen die er werken ontzettend aardig en attent met een speciale en eervolle vermelding voor bootduwer Harm. Enorm leuke dag gehad.

Ein Besuch dort lohnt sich unbedingt und man sollte auch viel Zeit mitbringen, weil es viel zu sehen gibt. Schon der nachgebaute Hafen am Eingang mit seinen historischen Schiffen ist sehr schön. Bei einem kann man auch in den Laderaum steigen. Dann folgt das eigentliche Freimuseum mit seinen zahlreichen Gebäuden und Einrichtungen. Es gibt auch immer eine Beschreibung auf Deutsch.

Hier kan je wel een hele dag zoet mee zijn. Varen via boot naar de ingang. In het dorp is veel te zien oude ambachten.

Phantastische Anlage, absolut empfehlenswert. Man kann einen ganzen Tag dort verbringen und hat immer noch nicht alles gesehen. Informationen in NL, E und D. Das frühere Leben wird hervorragend dargestellt. Ein Muss !!!
