When dining, try to get a table on the terras with view on the river. Lovely place to have a pitstop or a coffee after your gelato from the neighbour. The charming staff will make sure you feel welcome here. Situated in the beautiful oldtown Vreeswijk, alongside of the historical waterworks.

A family lunch on a chilly day in Vreeswijk brought us to the charming Brasserie het Raadhuis. It's neat and welcoming inside, and the friendly waitress kept the beers and Pinot Grigios flowing. The food was astonishingly good: the flatbread with goat's cheese is a Mediterranean inspired delight, while the Desembrood with smashed avo was one of the best sandwiches I've eaten in ages. I wanted to try my wife's baked Camembert, but she snarled at me every time I went near it. She said it was brilliant! And then to end with a couple of slices of excellent apple tart and some good coffee. Thank goodness I have family in Vreeswijk, so I have an excuse to return.

Great atmosphere great beer great staff and great food 5 out of 5. We also had some normal conversations with the waitresses and water is free.

Dinner with small group. Picked from the varied menu. Very good food,too bad the rhubarb crumble was not available... Now I need to come again ;-)

Wij, 3 vriendinnen, hebben een top avond gehad!!
Enorm leuk personeel en naast gezellig ook echte gastheer en -vrouw. Een vrolijke keukenbrigade die ons wist te verrassen. We konen zeker terug en hopelijk met mooi weer om op het terras (met een heerlijk uitzicht over het water) te kunnen vertoeven.
