Eetcafé De Voogd

This cozy little café is the perfect place for a rainy afternoon! (or really any other time of the day; this was our luck at least:))
First you warm up with a good cup of coffee and then you’re ready for an incredible set of beer. Not only was the taste deep, dense and rich, but it gives great satisfaction to the drinker. Moreover, the food was delicious, as much for the warm brie and salami focaccia as for the onion soup.
Lastly, the interior is super attractive, vintage and authentic, which creates a nice atmosphere.
Strongly recommend this comfy, cheerful and homey place! :)

We had such a good time there. Lovely people, great mood. We mostly had coffee, bitterballen and crispy chicken. The coffee was great, and the food was delicious. They had a large selection of beer which we will try next time.

Top notch service and excellent high quality food! The waitstaff were very patient, attentive and friendly. We weren’t sure where to eat in the area but gave this place a shot and everything was so well prepared. It was a pretty simple menu but everything came with fries, and they may have been the best fries we’ve EVER had. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place that won’t disappoint!

My wife and I came for dinner. I can't speak highly enough about this cafe. The food was excellent, from start to finish it was fresh, balanced and well made with a delightful range of flavors, textures and thoughtful combinations.

They were very accommodating, helping us with the Dutch menu and explaining different dishes - they even bought our dog a water bowl.

The drinks list was also great, leaving this Advanced Cicerone very pleased (excellent beer list).

It was certainly better than anything we had in Amsterdam during our stay and has probably been our favorite meal of the year - it definitely puts German food to shame.

Tried their caramel latte and blueberry banana cake, both tasty and made with care. Unfortunately it is not possible to sit inside, but the bench located across the street makes wonders on a sunny day.

Awesome place to eat, have a party or drink! would not change a thing, very polite personel. 5/5

Waitresses were very kind, the Apple pie and croquette were wonderful. Family friendly as well.

Niets anders dan lof over dit eetcafe. Een lekker losse sfeer, erg lekker eten (ook vegetarisch), maar ook de bediening was top. Goedlachs en een uitgebreide uitleg over de speciaalbiertjes. Men weet duidelijk waar men het over heeft. Untappd gebruikers kunnen hier misschien een nog nieuw biertje scoren 😉

Ontspannen en heerlijk gegeten en gedronken bij eetcafé de Voogd. Enthousiast en vriendelijke bediening, heerlijke gerechten (klassiekers als Saté en Spareribs zijn fantastisch) en mooie selectie bieren. Dikke tien en we komen zeker binnenkort terug!

Verrassende eetcafe gerechten gemixt met klassiekers. Diverse kaart inclusief leuke toetjes en deelbare voorgerechten. Gezellige losse sfeer maar ook uitstekend om samen te eten. In de zomer een prima terras en... Heeel veel keuzes uit bieren (incl diverse 0.0) en wijntjes.

Bijzonder vriendelijk en gastvrij. Gezellige sfeer. Heerlijk om na het winkelen na te zitten met een wijntje.

Heerlijke eigengemaakte appeltaart met slagroom. Fijne bediening en ruime keuze op de kaart, ook voor de lunch. Zeker een goed koffiepauze adresje.

Heerlijk gegeten met partner en twee pubers.
Fantastische frietjes en heerlijke wijn en ruim assortiment aan bier, ook van de tap!

Heerlijke "Dinner and Beer"! Lekker 4 gangen diner met per gang een goed, bijpassen biertje. Vriendelijke bediening!

Sinds kort verhuisd van leiden naar Sassenheim en gaan we zeer regelmatig even borrelen bij de voogd. Super sfeer, vriendelijk personeel en heerlijke bieren op de tap en in de fles. Wij komen hier regelmatig en graag.
