- Food was simply delicious and the portions bountiful

- Service was quite good despite not being greeted at the door, which was due to the waiter being busy elsewhere, and having quite little time between finishing my food and having the plate removed

- Atmosphere was quite good despite the small size of the dining room and the furnitures being rather retro

Great food and really nice atmosphere inside. This is the kind of place you’d bring guests. Staff were excellent as well. I look forward to another visit.

great food , great people working there . the atmosphere is a personal taste thing so thats why the 1star less, otherwise its cozy af for friends or couples .

I've been here tonight and I have loved it, I have paid 33'50€ for a menu, that includes principant, main curse and a dessert, on the principant I have chosen the Gambas al Ajillo that where awesome, on the main curse I have chosen a Schnitzel that was one of the biggest meats that I have eaten, it was over broad it and it was fantastic, it cames with a souce, fries, mushrooms, coleslaw and a salad and for the dessert I have chosen Dame Blanch that it was fantastic, it contains vanilla icecream, hot chocolate cream and almonds, on my opinion this was a very good restaurant for beeing with the family or friends. ✨

Delicious food, friendly staff, nice location close to the beautiful train station. I liked the decor, the restaurant is decorated with old record sleeves.

Very good steak, and an incredible cake for Stroopwaffles lovers.

Top Schnitzel

Very tasty food, friendly and helpful staff and fast service. The chairs outside even have heaters so you won't get cold! A+ :)

The 3 Course menu is great. Price is good.

The serving time is a bit lacking, I had to get up from the dinner and extend my parking stay ..

My daughter and I wanted to experience Dutch restaurant and foods in Netherlands so we visited Karakter in Arnhem. The restaurant was located at a convenient location and felt cozy. All the foods we ordered were great, especially the mushroom and prawn starter dishes tasted fantastic! The presentation of all the foods was artistic!
I would visit the restaurant again when I have a chance in the future.
Only issue was that the smoking related smell bothered me even though there was no smoking or vaping in the restaurant. Unfortunately for me, the smoking related smell was everywhere in Netherlands.

Great location in the city center. Staff is friendly and laid-back. The food was good, not exceptional. It was a perfect combination of price and quality! I had the meatstew, I would highly recommend that dish!

Authentique ! Great restaurant right next to Arnhem Central station. The staff was welcoming, smiling and adapted to English very easily. The food was amazing, and the portions filling. The cheese platter is definitely worth it and well explained by the staff. We had a very good time in a cosy and old-fashioned ambiance. Definitely recommend and will come back!

This is the best meal I've had this year. Thanks for the excellent ingredients and honest preparation. Love the album covers, too. Brought me back to my childhood. We we're sorry we didn't get back another time, but will go when we're in Arnhem.

Stumbled across this restaurant looking for a place to eat. Had loads of locals inside which is always a winner. The staff were really friendly and happy to explain the menu. Food was really nice from start to finish. It's a nice cosy place :)

Nice staff, excellent food. The starter (gambas) was exceptionally good.

I had nachos. Pretty funny, person assumed me and the person i was with it would share it but i ate the entire thing haha
