Hof van Putten

I highly recommend the hof van Putten - the rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable for a short or a long stay. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is much larger than your standard hotel.

The staff working there are super friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you have a nice time - they made the stay. There is a great restaurant on site or there are very nice options just a short walk away.

There are also great conference rooms for anyone looking to hire some space for a work meeting. The hotel supplies everything you need for a work meeting.

Fantastic. We loved every bit of it. We booked the suite and with our two young boys - toddler and baby- the room size was perfect. The breakfast which was inclusive was great and the staff very friendly. The huge and green compound made it a comfy and awesome stay for us and the family.

Hotel in a nice quiet setting. All the staff that I encountered were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and spacious enough. The beds were firm and are memory foam type which made them very comfortable. Food wise I couldn't fault them at all. For what we paid there was plenty and was delicious. Each night there was soup starter, salad, one fish dish and one meat dish and dessert. A must try is their potato salad, which was delicious.
If you have spare time a wonder around the local shops which are just 5-10 minutes walk away. There you'll find about 3-4 bars and plenty of other small high street shops along with a supermarket. A word of caution about the supermarket. They don't take cash at the checkout and to make it worse they don't take Visa but think they do take Mastercard.
Overall I would recommend staying here if you like quiet hotels.

Loved it! Absolutely beautiful grounds and interior decor. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Only an hour 20 minutes to get to Amsterdam so you can experience the city and embrace the peacefulness of the countryside.

Having stayed here for the last few days with a group from Mid Wales. Excellent food concidering the volume off customers that had to be dealt with. Our stay was also made that much enjoyable by the professional services given by your Barman forgive us for not getting his name,nothing was to much trouble for him he looked after us so well. All staff are a credit to the Hotel.

Very nice hotel, with rooms for any budget. Great service. Nice gifts to buy. Lovely environment, right in the middle of nature, but also very close to the center of Putten. Easily reached by public transportation. Very polite and service minded personell. One can rent bikes to discover the beauty of the Veluwe.

I went to Amsterdam and coming home my flight and every other flight were cancelled due to a refueling problem. As everybody needed a hotel my Sister, daughter and I found we had to stay 80km from Amsterdam in place called Putten.

The Hot Van Putten Hotel was a lovely surprise. The bedrooms were huge and as we found out the next day it is surrounded by forests.

I would recommend this hotel if you like walking and nature.

Also the prices in Putten were less than half the price of Amsterdam.
