Restaurant de Watermolen is a fine dining restaurant. Its soft ambiance and artful lighting create a perfect setting for a wonderful evening out.

The menu features a variety of exquisite dishes. I had the caviar (a must try) and the salmon-prawn as a shared starter - both exceptional!!!

For my main, I had the fish of the day, a testament to the kitchen's commitment to freshness and expertise. The chef's talent shines in every dish. My friend had the tournedos, and was just as delighted as I was!

The service is beyond reproach. The staff are incredibly attentive and fulfill every request with genuine kindness. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also superb.

Thanks to the amazing staff but mostly to the chef who gave us pure joy with every bite.

As to the bill, it was very reasonable. Quality is outstanding!

Very friendly staff, great food, good wines. The setting is very nice, not stiff, not too formal. We had the lobster soup as a starter, and as main course the cod and guinea fowl. Both delicious. As desert the chocolate variations with coffee at the fireplace, couldn't have been better! This place is a must-go when visiting Velp and surroundings!

We joined for the Game dinner. The meat was incredible. An assortment of venison, hare, duck and boar - all was delicious. The music was a nice touch as well!

WOW... I think I just found my a hidden gem. This lovely restaurant was located in the town of Velp just outside of Arnhem. From the outside this restaurant immediately catches your eye. The building itself is an old water mill and has alot of beautiful character. The inside was just as charming as the outside and offered a very relaxed and intimate dining experience. They offer a very extensive wine menu and had a good selection of whiskies and other spirits. Although the menu was limited it did seem to offer somthing to suit all. We opted for the "Supprise 3 courses" at the low end of the price scale ( €43 p.p)
The food was everything you would expect and more. The dishes where presented beautifully and the server fully explained every dish as it came out. There was also the option to have a suited wine with each course. The entire dining experience made for a lovely evening together with my partner.

Good ambiance, pleasant staff, excellent food combined with nice wine. Very recommendable for an evening of fine dining.

Have visited here twice now and tho I found the first two courses a bit repetitive this time around the rest was just astonishing. The personnel is very good and always very friendly. The restaurant is placed in an old watermill, as the name suggests, which makes for a rather unique dining experience.

Great restaurant but I'm just not a fan of getting small pieces of food and leaving a restaurant being hungry still.
