Unique restaurent...bordering Netherlands and Belgium, a line with cross passes from outside table with cross and one side market B and othe side NL this is the two countries border, great to witness,We had french fries and ice cream, we arrived from Nagpur Maharashtra India on 1st July 23.....good prepration👍

This was one of the best burgers I had and I think the best burger in this area. It is more of those gourmet burgers, where they cook the patty medium so that it is juicy. Gouda is was a right choice of cheese as well. Fries were crispy and delicious. Service was also great! Definitely worth the money (~€19).

I had a waffel with Strawberries and cream. It was an afternoon snack and oh man, how good it was!
I also got eat at a table next to the border line.

It's a great place, the service is first class. If you are very touristy, you can also sit on the border. 😉

We just felt the heartbeat of Baarle- Nassau or was just an Angel? -The food is fresh, good and plenty... Waiters very helpful. Dogs are allowed in the hotel and restaurant. Rooms nice and clean. A lovely place to spend your time!

Just stayed at Den Engel for the 5th time, and took my family to their restaurant last night. Wonderful experience. The food is really good, great selection, well presented, with an awesome vegetable selection with the steaks that we had. Service was also wonderful, super friendly and helpful. The hotel room was comfortable and spacious. Prices are very reasonable for the high quality that they offer. I can warmly recommend Den Engel to anyone that needs to be in the area.

Aah if you want a to see a beautiful border agreement between two beautiful country and beautiful people then please visit this place and have a cup of coffee and beer in the border or Germany and Netherlands. You will get one chair and table in this cafe which is located on the border of these two countries. Must go if you have been in Netherlands or in Belgium

We had lunch on Sunday. While the kids played in the back my wife and I enjoyed our delicious sandwich. Personnel was great, friendly and correct. Don't hesitate to stop here.

We just popped in for diner. What a lovely place to be. Food is fantastic and service is friendly with a big smile. Makes you feel welcome. A little pricy for just a quick meal. But would rather go here every now and then and skip cheaper places.
All I can say is. fantastic.

We stayed at the hotel and also had dinner and lunch here. Room are spacious and confortable, staff super nice and welcoming, and the food was delicious! We definitely recommend it, we hope to come back soon!

Among one of my favorite places in Belgium. The price is well worth the experience. The salmon dish was the best out of all the things I ordered.

Quiet town situated between the border of NL and Belgium. Walked around the town and had our lunch in the Den Engel restaurent food was amazing and all the dishes whether it was salad, chicken or the rice perfectly cooked with delicious taste.
Must visit the place to clearly differentiate between the Dutch and Belgian side. Funny that there certain pockets on land or houses which is Dutch and rest are Belgian side.

We could see the difference of how the Belgian follow the Covid precautions ( like wearing Mask in public and not the case in the Dutch side.

Kind staff, great menu. The outdoor seating is unique as you can sit over the border of Belgium and Netherlands. On the picture you can see the "B" sign which stands for Belgium.

Nice and clean environment. Good coffee and more importantly in the winter, good glühwein.
