Wonderful tourist info center in Baarle. They have maps and info in all sorts of languages. The lady behind the desk was happy to explain how to explore the town and gave me a map. In the basement of the building they have a museum/historical info center.

Adrijanis was the best guide !!! He know to much history for our closed brains! He took all his time to explain us everything about this city which is divided in 2 countries, the place is very well prepared with photos and also Adrijanis show us images made with his drone to understand even better all this. When you do soemthing with love the people will be closer to you. Thank you Adrijanis !

One of the most interesting towns in the world! Where else can you cross the border several times just by walking around? And where else do you get confused, where you are right now? Belgium or Netherlands? Fascinating as well the divided buildings or the fact, that you just can belong to another nation just by swapping your front door.
But what nowadays is just funny hasn't been always as easy -- that's documented very well in the little exhibition at the tourist information, which is free to visit.
The ladies at the information desk are very, very friendly! We've been twice a week there during our holidays because my little 3-year-old-daughter loved the "Belgium-Netherland-Game" (hopping over the border) and it's been very important to her to visit a second time the tourist information to get two more flags (for free).
What would be nice, would be a book (in English) about the history of this town.

Tow small cities on the borders between belgium and Nederland... A lot of shops and small caffe. There is only one house that the borders passed by his door exactly. The half of house in belgim and the other half in Nederland.
There is a small office of tourisme that shows pictures and maps and some other things and information about the history of cities.

Lovely village to visit in your way from Netherlands to Belgium and cross the border in a jump only with no restrictions or police check point

A tourist office like no other. Representing two villages in two countries that are in fact one siamese twin of a village, but with a chessboard layout where one side of the road is Dutch and the other Belgian; 50m further and they have swapped.

As well as a nicely presented history, there are walking and cycling routes to follow to get the feel of the village(s), including the house with the border through its front door, resulting in both a Belgian and a Dutch house number.

Even the lampposts have stickers to let you know which country you are in.

The tourist office is beautifully represented by the lady answering tourists' questions.

Don't miss visiting the tourism office to mark where you're from! It was there that I came to know that someone from Chennai had already visiting Baarle-Hertog-Nassau!!

Very nice tourist information. It is beyond our expectations. Besides normal tourist information, there is a historical guide when we visited. The guide told us the history of these enclaves clearly. We learned from him a lot. There are some walking map here. Some postcards are free of charge and some nice postcards arewith a reasonable price.

Misschien meer 'Museum alike' would make it more approachable for international tourism. Otherwise, worth a visit to understand borders in peaceful Netherlands and Belgium !
