Had een mondeling akkoord maar dit is op het laatste moment afgeketst. Niet netjes maar begrijpelijk bij deze bedragen. Toch het gevoel aan het lijntje gehouden te zijn. Ben benieuwd of dit vaker gebeurd.

I am a Spanish architect and landscape architect, freshly graduated from TU Delft. I recently got a job in a company in the province of Noord Brabant; thus, I started to search for a house in the area.

Two weeks ago, through your website, I stumbled upon an The property was a flat, located in the Emmastraat, 1b, 4941 in Raamdonksveer. My salary was well over three times the price of the rent.I contacted them through mail. I was requested some documentation that I dutifully sent to them, including my passport, job offer, a referral from my last landlord and a referral from my last employer (both Dutch). I asked them if that would do. They never replied. I phoned them on several occasions, trying to extract any kind of information, but their answers were consistently elusive. All that I managed to get was that the viewings of the property would take place the week after (from 14th August to Friday 19th). They wouldn’t even confirm a specific day. I was staying with my family in Spain and I cut my holidays short, making me unable to attend to a family event, just to be able to be in the Netherlands on time for the earliest possible viewing. This also implied booking a new flight that costed me 200 euros.

Yesterday (10th August) I called them again, at 1 PM. They replied they would call me in an hour which they never did. I called them back today (11th August) just to be very nonchalantly told that the property “is no longer available”. When I expressed my circumstances, they did not even muster anything remotely similar to an apology. I am very sure that the reason of this mistreatment is because of either them being scammers or because they are not a trustworthy company; in any case, I do recommend you to keep you as far from this company as you can
