We absolutely loved everything about this place and will definitely come back! First of all the staff is amazing, so friendly, attentive and welcoming. We’ve barely seen this anywhere else. If you have any allergies or if you’re vegan they will, without hesitating, prepare a vegan version of the dish for you! The food was fantastic, everything that we ordered was super delicious and full of flavour.

It was absolutely amazing visiting this place the first day we got to Amsterdam the little town is amazing has many cool restaurants around the place but this place stood out and we decide to go in and as our feeling it was amazing the service the food quality food also they price free papadam for while u wait for ur food chutneys r house made and u can taste the freshness in food everything is made fresh to order also it’s a family run restaurant their daughter treated us with smile took out order make sure the food was cooked fast coz we were hungry not only that they gave us extra papadum . Momos were delicious , chicken chowmein was tasty extremely flavorful all in all one of the best plz give it a try

Wow!! What an amazing food. I had Chicken Momo ,garlic naan, cheese nan ,chicken tikka masala , and rice. Totally blown away by the flavors. The best Indian food ever in Hilversum. Most recommended. Can’t wait for my next dine-in experience there.

Been to this restaurant 3 times now, really like the food, the people are super friendly and the service is very good. The lady (host) working there is also very kind and talks passionately about their culture/food, which is lovely to see 😊

Everything was excellent! Welcoming staff who informed us that this is a family business (from chefs to servers). The taste is authentic. We ordered Nepalese chai, dal bhat, and a surprise dessert. Their ice cream has a very pure flavour. I was surprised by the real coconut and pistachio flavours.

Very friendly staff and tasty food. Good suggestion to order less to avoid waste. Many food choices.
I saw two tables celebrated birthday with a happy atmosphere.

Great food and service, and cozy atmosphere. Best naan bread I ever had.
I would go every day if I could, I liked everything I ate :)

Just a side note
- when asked do we want normal or fried rice with the meal we were not told it would be charged extra. It is not a big deal but it would feel nicer to have clarity than to get a bigger bill at the end.

The food we had was really good. The menu is quite big with a lot of variety and lots of vegetarian dishes. Also the hosts are super welcoming.
This place is definitely on my list to visit again.

My friend and I had a delicious meal at this restaurant. As a starter the extra spicy pumpkin soup, followed by a delicious meal featuring various vegan dishes. The final dish, home made ice cream, was a treat. Above all, we sincerely enjoyed the kindness of our hosts and their welcoming service with a beautiful smile. Your place is a gem. The Gorkha Restaurant is a great choice for people who love Nepali/Indian traditional food. I visited the restaurant with my partner and we both are from India. We ordered Veg platter for 2 people which included starters (veg momos and 1 samosa), 2 veg thalis and 2 desserts. The thali includes 3 dishes and rice. One recommendation for guests is to try whole wheat roti which is simply superb! Also, the Mango kulfi is must if this is not a part of your meal. Overall, excellent food with great hospitality! Highly recommended :) An extra shout out for the friendly staff.

After getting food delivered more than I wish to admit we finally decided to dine in at this restaurant. We already knew the food is great and that they have multiple delicious vegan options. The staff treated us very well and we had an all round great experience.
