It is always a wonderful experience eat at any Surya restaurant. The food is super tasty and the staff is friendly and very warm hearted.

Amazing Nepalese and Indian food, great staff, very friendly and making time to explain everything as well as very prompt to come to you on request or even proactively to make your experience the best experience possible.

One of my favorite places to go for delicious curry and tandoori chicken 💜 I go here a few times a year and it never disappoints. They serve large portions and if it’s too much you can ask for a doggy bag. They also make their own Surya wine which is very tasty and they have their own brand of gin. That one I still have to try.

We went here for our anniversary, on a not too busy night, apparently there was a match on that others were in a hurry to get to, friendly staff, had a nice chat with the maitre d', who gave us the hidden gin menu for my wife to enjoy. We had agreed upfront to not take a starter, so we wouldn't have too much to eat. So when we got there we had the mixed starter which was a tasty selection of meats for the both of us, but then came the main course, which was delicious, but as suspected way too much with the starter. I have a feeling we're going to make the same delicious mistake next time again.

Great food! We ordered the Saag Paneer and Butter Chicken. I’ve been on the hunt for a good Butter Chicken as it’s my good to comfort food and this really hits the spot! Not sweet at all like you find at some places which I don’t enjoy at all.

Delicious Indian food. 100% authentic (naan and meat cooked in an Indian tandoor). I highly recommend ordering from the tandoori grill menu (Roshan is a star grill chef) but the curries and other menu items are also fantastic.

Delicious variety of foods. Very friendly staff. Ambience is perfect. Prices a little higher than average but well worth the difference. Parking is a challenge but car parks close by. Time flew before you know it 3 hours have passed.

Its a really good restaurant with delicious food and nice atmosphere, the service was excellent the owner him self was taking care of our table big thanks for the service.

Best Indian food I’ve had in this country. Even better than London’s Brick Lane - just exquisite.

Surya is very busy, if you want to eat then book before hand!! The restaurant is very nice, they serve amazing mango drinks and their food is very diverse in an Indian and Napoli style.

Remember you can ask them to make it less spicey! But overall the spiciness is very doable unless you hate spicey food (in which case you would probably not eat here to begin with).

This is one of the best places in Hilversum in my opinion and a perfect way to experience Indian or Napoli food. If you've ever wanted to try it then I suggest going here.

In my humble opinion the best restaurant in town. Fantastic Nepalese and Indian food. Great service and amazing cocktails that were made non-alcoholic per request.

Excellent Indian food that made me miss India for some time :-) Staff is very polite and respectful. Owner is courteous and polite as well. Ambiance is great. And quality of food is perfectly great.

This restaurant never lets us down, been loyal customers for over a decade. Hands down, best and most truly spicy dishes we had in the country.

I have been to many Indian restaurants around the country, but so far Surya, (specifically Hilversum) is the best in terms of food and service. The food is worth the relatively higher price.
