I was looking for something else to eat. My girlfriend from the USA said let's eat at a Thai restaurant. I said : i don't know any good place. Then we found Mekong restaurant in Deventer. The ambiance is real Thai. It's not huge but lovely atmosphere. The food was very tasty. Good portions , great taste lot of variation to choose from.
Lovely staff and great chef. It's an experience you have to try. We will be back. We had a great evening.

Really had a nice dinner in the resto, the chef is very accomodating and really nice to chat with. The food was delicious i love their appetizer fish cakes..really recommend the place

Lekker gegeten in een gastvrije omgeving. Thaise gerechten, bereid door Nederlandse kok die jarenlang in Thailand heeft gewoond. Opvallend aan de menukaart is dat je eerst een keuze maakt voor groeten en saus, terwijl de keuze voor vlees, vis of vegetarisch pas daarna komt. Beter dan bij restaurants waar de vlees keuze voorop staat. De sfeer is prettig, alsof je op visite bent in de woonkamer.

Wat een ontzettend leuk restaurant! Huiskamersfeer, ontzettend goeie service en heerlijk gegeten!
Nadat we het hoofdgerecht op hadden kwam de kok/eigenaar bij ons om te informeren of alles naar wens was.
Een avondje genieten!

Zeker de moeite waard. Prijzen waar je nog blij van wordt, hele vriendelijke bediening en dan natuurlijk: het eten! Nou, hoera! Dit was feest!

Leuke toegevoegde waarde dat de kok als hij klaar is in de keuken een ronde doet door de zaak om te informeren of iedereen helemaal tevreden is. Mooi!
