What a very enjoyable experience!
Last Sunday we made a reservation for dinner with our families.
On arrival we were greeted warmly and were guided to our table.
Soon there was freshly baked bread on the table and our chosen bottles of wines. The food tastes just as good as it looks, and I can safely say everyone at our table was pleased.
You can really taste that the kitchen cooks with love and passion.

All in all a great night out, very good service, and overall very pleasant ambiance.

Definitely will visit again, it's worth a detour!

We picked a seat outside at this place on a sunny Saturday, located at the main square and also the museum.

The service was good, the staff was friendly and they even “allowed” us to practice our Dutch :D

The food took a bit to arrive, but everything was delicious. We order some sandwich, toasty and a soup, and we finished it up with some poffertjes as dessert.

Prices were around average. Probably will visit again if I ever go back to Oudewater.

We were taken here by 2 local friends on a wet day and the very thoughtful staff immediately took all of our wet coats and hung them to dry!! Just as importantly our meals, Salmon Salad and Caesar Salad were DELICIOUS and huge!!

I kinda like it here. Texels witte, that’s why I’m here mostly. But what I’d have also recommend here is the Traditioneel Frans desembrood, groentespread en tapenades, taste like home made, lekker, lekker, finger licking food

Cosy environment, very good food and very friendly fast service. Will come back here again.

First dined here in 2019 & the food was incredible and we’ve been coming here at least twice a year since- Due to COVID-19 restrictions. Their surprise menu is always delicious, too. In 2021, they were able to do a delivery for their 4course surprise menu for my birthday and the plates were already plated, gave us the proper instructions to keep them warm, and their team member was very helpful during delivery.

In the summertime, we have biked over for some bites and cocktails. I love the atmosphere and their location. I’m always excited to dine, take out, or get delivery here.

Beautiful location in the centre of Oudewater. Good quality food made with a passion for cooking. Make reservations in the weekend!

Gorgeous historic house, with modern facilities, like elevator for persons in wheelchair, high tech kitchen, beautiful modem interior, good food and drinks, terrace with all round view in fairytale center of one of the oldest (tiny) cities in the Netherlands.

Very good restaurant with lots of good plates. They do for me the best bitterballen of netherland and the staff is very polite and sympathic !!

Super mooi pand, een serre gebouwd tussen twee oude panden maakt het sfeervol en karakteristiek.
Personeel zeer vriendelijk en ook een dessert buiten de kaart om bestellen als je alleen een bolletje ijs wil was mogelijk. Top service, maak je niet vaak mee.
Eten was echt voortreffelijk, mooie hoeveelheid in de porties, zeer goede kwaliteit.

Mooie locatie, vriendelijk personeel en lekker eten! Alleen op de latte art mag nog even geoefend worden. 😉

Wat een heerlijk eten en wat een service. Wij genoten van bijpassende wijn bij elk gerecht. De kok had een prima selectie gemaakt rekening houdend met de dieet wensen van een ieder. Een gezellige avond uit met lekker eten. Absolute aanrader!

Heerlijk gegeten. Echt een aanrader. Vriendelijk personeel. Leuk dat de eigenaar na afloop nog even langs iedereen komt. Gezellige mooie locatie.

prima koffie, appeltaart en aardbei/framboos taart.
Vriendelijke bediening.
Mooie zaak (en pand) van binnen en terras.
Pal naast de Heksenwaag op een mooie plek hartje Oudewater.

Heel gezellig, lekker eten. Aardige mensen. Ik kom er graag.

Ik heb meerdere keren genoten van een heerlijk diner of lunch bij Hex in Oudewater. De sfeer is altijd goed en het eten elke keer voortreffelijk. Een absolute aanrader voor iemand die van culinair genieten houdt

Lekker en verrassend gegeten. Leuke sfeer en fijne bediening. Vergeten om fotos te maken maar het zag er lekker uit
