De Limbourg Sittard

My husband and I stayed here in early December. My God , what a great place and location. We stayed in the apartment on the top floor. Stunning, clean and comfortable. Very spacious as well for the price. It is on the top floor with no elevator so there are a number of stairs to climb. It’s worth it though. The breakfast is light and nice. The staff/owner is very friendly. My only disappointment was that we were so busy traveling each day that we did not have the opportunity to dine there for dinner. I would not hesitate to stay here again if we are fortunate enough to visit wonderful Sittard again. I loved this place!!!

I was fortunate enough to stay at the De Limbourg Sittard for a few months this year while working in Sittard. It's a classic European hotel right on the square or "Markt" of Sittard. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. It's a very large hotel but not obvious from the outside.

You are literally next door to historic churches and a 10 minute walk to the train station.

The owners and staff are very nice and like family. It's great to support a locally owned business here. You are steps away from everything in Sittard and if you have a car, park in the very nice underground (Interparking ODA Parking) I've reviewed recently.

The daily breakfast is nice as well. I loved their coffee and croissants. But the best part was returning from work to be greeted with a smiling face to ask me how my day was.

The cafes and restaurants nearby are great as well. I can't wait to return and re-visit this area on holiday.

I LOVE this hotel. The rooms are clean the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is included and has a great array of choices. The market square has some great restaurants and places to eat or just to get a few beers. There is good shopping in the nearby streets and it's close in driving distance to many great cities. Anytime I'm anywhere remotely near this hotel, I will stay here.

Don’t know about the hotel part since we didn’t stay there, but do know about the restaurant since we (3ppl) had an absolutely delicious dinner here — and we unanimously agreed we can unreservedly recommend going here. Its terrace is huge and spaaacy, has heating for cold days, and the view from there on market square is delightful. Remarkably, ALL the staff we encountered were serIously friendly & helpful. Menu clearly not fancy & highbrow but definitly waaaay above most medium priced restaurants, and we were seriously surprised by the quality of what we actually got served on our plates. We skipped starters, had three main courses, ultimately six wines by the glass, three coffee, plus a shared single piece of Limburgia vlaai — and all that for just 125 euros. Overall: the very best price/quality & value-for-money we’ve experienced in quite some time.

Wonderful hotel. Extremely comfortable beds, fantastic location and a great breakfast buffet. The hotel is located in the market square with many fabulous restaurants. This picturesque town is worth the visit and a night at the Limbourg is recommended :)

Third time that I come back to this hotel. Service is perfect, personnel is always available and pleasant, rooms are always cozy and tidy, beds are really comfortable, bathrooms are always clean. I strongly recommend this hotel 👌

Great heated and covered terrace to overview the city square. Wonderful selection of wines and gins.

Really nice stay. Couldn't be more central (it's right in the town square). It's worth noting that the late night entrance is tucked away around the side of the building.

We hebben dit hotel very last minute geboekt, vanwege een verstoring in het treinverkeer door een blikseminslag. Op zondagavond reden er geen treinen meer door een blikseminslag. Om 21.30 uur heb ik met het hotel gebeld, binnen een half uur konden we ter plekke zijn en onmiddellijk inchecken. Op zondagavond om 22.00 uur nog! Fantastisch! Mooie, schone, keurige kamer gekregen. Heel fijne bedden, prettige kamer. 's Ochtends een prima ontbijt! Super gastvrij personeel! Echt een heel prettige ervaring bij een onverwachte gebeurtenis.

Wij hadden een hele mooie 3 persoonskamer (2 aparte ruimtes). Zag er erg nieuw uit. Ontbijt was prima. Voldoende keus voor het avondeten (we hebben overigens ergens anders gegeten)
