Fletcher Hotel Château De Raay

Fantastic natural environment, great for walking and exploring history—William of Orange apparently stayed here for a while. The staff was kind, especially Romy. We were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade, and the room was fantastic. However, the food was not on par. There were many new staff members, and although there was a mistake with the ribeye, the head person noticed it. When we ordered another dish, we got it on the house. It's impressive service, especially in the Netherlands, where service is generally below the standard found elsewhere in the world. I definitely recommend going here.

Had an awesome stay at Fletcher Hotel De Raay. The nature around is perfect for walks and getting a dose of history, William of Orange even crashed here once. Shoutout to the super friendly staff, especially Romy. We hit the jackpot with a free room upgrade, and it was fantastic.

Now, about the food, it wasn't quite up to snuff. Lots of new staff, and there was a hiccup with the ribeye. But the head honcho spotted the mistake, and when we ordered something else, they comped it. Talk about great service, especially for the Netherlands, where service often lags behind the rest of the world. Totally recommend checking this place out.

Beautifully restored building with great details of the original architecture. Very comfortable room, great mattress on the bed! Had a chef’s special 4-course dinner and loved it. Breakfasts are fresh, lots of options and the restaurant is just gorgeous to sit in. It was a short work trip for me but would love to come back for longer and just relax and enjoy the place.

I have stayed there for only one night but I really liked the hotel. Great views, great rooms and excellent service. Very nice and helpful staff. Thank you very much for the great atmosphere and service.

There is absolutely nothing to fault.
The room in the chateau was large and perfect. The bathroom was huge.
The view was down over the front lawn, it couldn't have been better.
Dinner when we arrived was sensational.
We will be coming back next month on our way to Denmark and we cannot wait.

My husband surprised me with an overlooking and gorgeous room.
The breakfast buffet is unique cos it’s on the basement/underground.

Good place to be out of the city for a while. The garden looks nice in summer. Personnel was friendly and competent. Small gym but at least it has weights. Espresso martini is on the cocktail list. Nearby woods with horses.

Stylish little castle. The rooms are well sized. We have been there in winter. I think in summer the pretty nice garden would be a pleased place.

Lovely hotel! The reception staff was very friendly and efficient. The food was served in the room due to the Corona regulations/ limitations and was delicious, best alternative for a real diner night out. Well deserved 5 stars!

The Swiss chalet style building creates a naturally welcoming atmosphere with it's exposed wooden beams and tasteful attention to detail providing a perfect balance between old and new

Amazing service, the rooms were kept very well and the food served was very nice. The staff was very pleasant and willing to help out with any queries we had.

Definitely would like to come back again! A great experience staying here. Covid protocols were well followed. A unique and magical place to escape away from the city for a weekend.

Excellent hotel, with sumptuous rooms. Late Check-in service was unparalleled - receptionist welcomed us at the entrance at 3am and escorted us to our rooms.
