Theaterhotel Venlo

Located downtown, really nice place to stay, I've never met such nice people anywhere. The food at the restaurant was five-star, service at the bar was fantastic! Live music in the courtyard right outside the hotel, great park nearby to walk and see sights. Loved my experience here and hope to be back again!

There’s no better location than this hotel for our trip this time around! We were in Venlo for Hofbal 2024 which took place right next door to this hotel.
Knowing that our hotel bed was 1 minute away from the party really liberated us! Kkkkkk
The room was spacious and clean with all the necessary amenities. The bed was super comfy and I felt I was lying in a cloud.
One thing I did not like was the design of the toilet, which left nothing to imagination for your roommate🤣. Luckily we did not have to go number 2 there during our whole stay.

Very nice hotel! The room is big enough and comfortable. The only detail I'd mention is to have a flatter pillow since it's very high. The breakfast was tasty and the staff super nice , friendly and helpful. They really know how to treat their guests, awesome hospitality!

Lovely themed hotel. Perfect location for amenities. Literally outside the door. Parking is quite limited even in the underground We arrived an couldn’t get a bite to eat as it was on a Sunday but it wasn’t super late and we had our toddler which wasn’t ideal but I’d highly recommend and will be staying again.

It's really really good. Nice pricing, very good rooms with excellent beds. Super friendly staff. One remark only. If you arrive later in the evening don't bother to use the hotel parking. It is expensive and you park ror free just 20 yards away of the hotel on the river banks.

Amazing hotel, situated right on the waterside and busy shopping area, with lots of bars and eating areas around too. The rooms were lovely, very stylish and clean and the staff were so friendly. Breakfast was delicious lots of choice. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!!

I was there in February, good hotel nice view, room clean and big. I would reccomend to anyone

Extremely nice rooms, clean and have everything you would want from a hotel in that price range (bath stuff, towels, hair dryer, and so on). The toilet and the shower are a little weird. The shower is open to the room and the toilet...somebody sitting on the bed could watch you taking a dump :D
The staff, at least those who I have met, are friendly and kind. I kind of a sugar crisis at night and they sent somebody to my room at night with a couple snickers. Lovely. (my bad, I should have had less drinks and checked my sugar level repeatedly).
But the breakfast was standing out the most in my opinion. Everything was so fresh and well prepared, such a wide range too. The staff there was extremely nice and quick to respond.

Great place in Centrum, many pubs,shops around the hotel. Rooms :comfortable beds,big bathroom. In my room there was big tape with Dutch singer. Not looked good.
Finally i spend good time there . Service kind and informed.

I had the privilege of being in Venlo during the opening of Theaterhotel Venlo. As early, unscheduled guests, we were accommodated with a pair of beautifully appointed rooms with modern amenities such as air conditioning and a massive television. Our en suite washroom contained an absolutely refreshing shower with excellent quality shampoo, soaps, body wash, and the fluffiest towels. The room furniture was modern and attractive. The front desk staff was extremely welcoming and had recommendations for the amazing town of Venlo and the attached theatre. Parking is conveniently available at the hotel, as well for a very nominal fee. The central location of Theaterhotel Venlo right in the center of town across the street from the town hall and just on the main square, means you are just seconds from shopping, exquisite little cafes and restaurants, and the wharf where locals play watersports and picnic. The hotel is also only a 5 minute walk from the Venlo train station also. If you have the opportunity to stay here, I would absolutely recommend this hotel with no hesitations.

Really nice hotel that is attached to the Theater building. Nice detail of a complimentary prosecco glass. Breakfast included and REALLY good, in a high floor from the Theater building. Only down part is that they charge 25 Euros per night for a crib.

Great location, practical room layout, good breakfast. Really nice view of Oude Markt (Old Market) square from the terrace. It was in July, so it was nice to eat breakfast outside. The only downside was that on the first night I was not able to sleep due to the bells ringing on the hour. But on the second night I was more tired I assume, or I got used to the sound of the bells :), so it was no longer a problem. The hotel is colocated with the theater, so the interior is pretty impressive: really tall building, transparent wall on one side (towards Oude Markt), monumental staircase to the breakfast area (second floor).

Super hotel, very clean, located downtown. 2 restaurants are located in the building. Luif proposes goods deals at affordable price. Car park below the hotel. Noisy airco and TV misaligned (no big deal). Very good breakfast. A place to benchmark.

Very good hotel in Venlo city centre, close to many shops and pubs and attractions. A good and quiet stay

Very nice hotel, room was very nice and clean, breakfast very good with an amazing view. Only down side are the city hall bells that ring every hour (yes, even during the night)

Best hotel I've stayed in to date in terms of area, facilities, rooms fitted with great extras and perfect bathroom facilities. Shame the restaurant didn't live up to the room quality but fantastic rooms!!

Lovely peaceful, stylish hotel right in the centre of the beautiful town of Venlo. Restaurant on 2nd floor has fabulous outdoor terrace overlooking town square and river.
