Absolutely great store. We go here mostly for the special beer selection which is the biggest we’ve seen (we haven’t bought any wine or other beverages there, but we’re sure they do a good job in that too). A wall full of Belgian beers (the wall in the back on the second photo), quite a bit of Dutch, and otherwise beer from all kinds of places; USA, Canada, Lithuania, Denmark, Russia, etc. Special editions, highly rated beers, big bottles, small bottles, you name it. Some of them are expensive, but you can get plenty for around 2 euro’s as well.

They don’t sell most / some of the ‘usual’ beer you can get in supermarkets (which in the Netherlands can be quite a good and extensive selection too).

Big plus: the staff is so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable!! Ask them anything and they either tasted everything you’re having questions about or can help you nevertheless.

My only side notes would be that the Dutch selection could be more extensive (because of all the small breweries spread across the country, but that maybe doesn’t necessarily mean that the beers are good), and some more gluten free beers would be great. They have the Brunehaut triple / amber / blonde beers and Grisette which are gluten free (I’m so happy to find these!), but nowadays there are multiple very good, interesting, gluten free beers of all kinds of styles.

You'll be amazed when you walk into the store. The selection is enormous. Staff is very helpful with any questions you might have. Or if needed they give their own opinions to help you make a better choice.

For the people who don't like wine as much...
Don't be scared to come here, they have a large selection of liquor, beer and port.

THE specialist in this neighborhood for wine, beer and other liquor. Not like most liquor shops you find in the supermarket. They have allot of passion for, and knowledge about their products. Some of the people who work there could probably talk for hours about 1 thing and they have thousands. Great for picking gifts (they will wrap them 2 of course) or trying new things.

Service by people who love what they do. Basis for the best experience. On top of that they have a seriously good wine selection. That's why should go there and not trust your local 'supermarket' for a good wine choice.
